1. Time of Dying - Three Days Grace

The same nightmares again. Those hands all over him, grabbing and tearing his skin and flesh. He could feel the blood flow, sticky and hot, from each wound. Those voices ringing out in his ears, accusing him of his sins. He deserved this, he knew it. He deserved to die, but he couldn't. He had to repent. He had to earn the man who slept peacefully at his side. The nightmares were just part of it.

2. Homecoming - Green Day

"Oh stop whimpering. I haven't even done anything to you yet, you're acting like a child. That's much better. Good boy, all quiet now. Let me just make sure you don't move too much... oh it's just a gun, luv, you've seen one before. Just let me--

Ah, there. Oh now you're crying again... sigh... I don't want to do this, you know. I mean, who would want to talk to a sniveling weakling like you. I have to, you understand. Someone needs to put you in your place, and I'm just the one to do it. And oh sure I do rather enjoy inflicting my games upon you and your lot, but the crying I could really do without.

There we go, luv. Much better. All quiet and still now. You look so scared though, wotever would be wrong? Is it the poker? It's just a bit of metal, you know, it's not that bad... now let me see your arm... There we are. Such a good boy."

3. Love Today - Mika

"What the hell are you doing."

"What's it look like, fagcakes? Now sit still."

Ryder pushed his blond-haired compainion back to the sofa, before stepping back and putting on his most sultry look. Lysander snorted and crossed his arms, but smiled, watching carefully to see where this was going. The teen grinned and started to dance, stripping his clothing off and throwing it at Lysander as he went.

He jumped up on the table to give Lys a better long as he removed his shorts and then--

There was a loud crash as the legs of the coffee table buckled and it crashed to the floor. Lysander started to howl with laughter.

4. Unfaithful - Rihanna

She knew this was bad, something good women didn't do. But she couldn't help it... Henri was so sweet, so much more loving than her husband. And she was certan that he had fathered the baby she carried now. And then there was the fact that her husband wouldn't touch her while she was pregnant, and a woman has needs, you know.

It didn't make her feel any better though.

5. Billy Brown - Mika

It was sort of funny watching the two. They got along so well, and he never would have expected Fritz to be good with children. But here he was, watching his son giggle as he clutched the towering German's hair as he was carried around the room on his shoulders. Russell leaned forward and rested his chin in his hands, and smiled. Everything was worth it just to have this, this moment.

6. Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) - Pink

"I can tell you're there still."

There was a shuffling sound outside the door of the apartment, and it opened, and a brown-haired head poked in warily. Said brown-haired head was greeted with a sofa pillow pitched at his face, and he squeaked and shut the door again. There was more shuffling.

"Are you mad at me?"

"Maybe. Now go away."

"I am away."

"Outside the door where I can hear your breathing isn't away, cocktube."

"Well, that's not fair."

Lysander sighed.

"Fine, you can come back. But if you drape all over me like a fuicking cat in heat I'm punching you."

7. Sweet Sacrifice - Evanescence

The blood was warm on his hands as he worked, having not bothered with gloves. He didn't care about chance of infection here, it didn't matter. The boy was a lost cause. He glanced up at the patient's face, unable to tell if the whimpers were of pain or pleasure, or perhaps some sick combination of both. But it didn't matter. He had the boy now.

He brought the bonesaw down and started to saw away at the ribcage, a standard autopsy procedure he had done often in med school.

8. Firework - Katy Perry

It felt wonderful to have his confidance back, after so many years of feeling like he didn't matter. but now, thinking about it...he was home. He had his lover and his friend with him in this house, and their sweet kitten... He was safe, and that was what it had took. No more nightmares. No more drugs. Just his family here, as little and strange at it was. It was his, and that's what mattered. He was home.

9. Amen - Kid Rock

As he toyed with Ryder's hair as the teen slept, Lysander thought. Ryder had fallen asleep with his fingers wrapped around his cross again, and after giving up on trying to free it, he started to think about things.

If he thought about it, really, this whole...religion thing wasn't so bad. Respect and peace and love your neighbour and all that shit. And he already did that stuff. Hell, Ryder did that stuff and he'd never been to church a day in his life.

The idea of starting his own church flickered through his sleep-deprived mind, but he brushed it off. He already had one here. All he needed. He cuddled Ryder closer to his chest and smiled.

10. The Elements Song - Tom Leher

Russell could swear he could hear music. He'd been hearing it for a while, but it was just now he got curious, and decided to investigate. After following the sound to Fritz's lab, he poked his head in to see what was going on. He started to chuckle when he got a good look.

"Zhere's holmium und helium und hafnium und erbium, und phosphorus und francium und fluorine and terbium..."
