"I'm no where near used to this sun thing, Joshua. My vampire Canadian ass is gonna get all sunburned," Alex said, cringing against the glare. "I mean, seriously, my skin is going to peel off or something! Are you sure we can't go inside? Where there's SHADE?"

Joshua just laughed at his plight and tugged at his arm. "Oh come one! You're always inside! playing games or typing on the computer; you're the biggest fail of a vampire I've ever met, bar none!"

Alex turned a moody gaze towards his taller friend. "I'm Canadian. And a vampire. I can't fail any more than that."

"Well, there was that time last winter where - "

"Don't," He said, raising a hand. "Never, ever mention that again, Joshua. I will punch you in your dick's face if you even breathe a single word about that." Joshua grinned at him, false innocence seeping out of the expression. Alex glared at him. "And then I will feed off of you when you're huddled in a mass of pain and agony." That wiped the grin off of his face and Alex smirked in triumph.

Pouting, Joshua latched onto Alex's arm again. "Regardless of that incident or not," He said, ignored the pointed look his friend shot him. "You're coming with me to Vivian's house, whether you like it or not."

"No."

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes! I am not going over there alone! She'll rape me up a waaaall goddamnit!" Joshua hissed, pulling his puppy eyes at his friend.

"Let's see, what will I choose? Massive sunburn that would result in me shedding yards and yards of skin or the rape of my best friend?" Alex placed a hand on his chin as he thought before clapping a hand on his shoulder (er, or just his arm, since Alex couldn't reach up that high). "You're a strong person, I think you could survive."

Joshua gaped at his friend that took the moment to retreat inside. "You're a monster!" He exclaimed, stalking after him.

"I never said I was human in the first place Joshua," Alex said, slamming the door of his ancient house in his face.
