  4. Main menu:
  5. * no Load Game option in demo
  6. * no opening FMV in demo

  8. Gameplay:
  9. * demo starts you off on beach of Sea Town; retail version starts you in the castle to do some tutorial in the form of training
  10. * you depart the castle via a well; the demo lacks this well and you start off abouts where the well would be
  11. * can't change weapon in demo - hitting Select exits out of the demo (can hack in the weapons though)
  12. * the first house to the left of where you start is lacking the pyramid stack of barrels in the retail, likely because it is possible to pop out of bounds if you jump into them at the corners
  13. * the demo is missing some rooms:
  14. - in the first dungeon, the room after the rolling barrel switch room is the floating platform cannon room; the retail has the rolling barrel slope hallway room in between those rooms
  15. - the room after the floating platform cannon room is the Gallagher boss fight room; the retail follows this room with the downhill rock room, followed by the uphill barrel room, and then the downhill barrel room, with the blue flotation platform taking you to the Gallagher boss fight room
  16. * you enter the Gallagher boss fight room in a slightly different position: the retail has you float in on a platform, whereas the demo starts you off on the green platform right next where the flotation platform would be
  17. * there's no victory fanfare music and animation after the boss fight in the demo - Kingsley just stands there in silence
  18. * the music cuts off after the boss fight in the demo version
  19. * Briny Jim is not in the FMV of returning back to Sea Town in the ship in the demo version
  20. * the demo ends after the FMV ends, before the dialogue with Briny Jim starts
  21.  
  22. Debug menu:
  23. * None of the buildings in the other hub worlds load in the demo version; entering one will hang/crash the game
  24. * Aphasia won't load in the demo - crashes when you try
  25. * Castle Carrot grounds is different; the demo lacks the carrot guards that bar entry to the wells; the retail has these gates
