- SULFUR
- Azumi nodded her thanks, restraining the urge to vomit. She could do so in the courtyard outside if she still feel the need. "Thanks for listening," she said, meaning it, but looked back to the silent, unresponsive Rose. "But I won't need that much time. You can watch if you want to. And I stand by what I said. This was a loyalty test, but I think you can do one more think to me if you so need. Not that I have much of a choice either way." She didn't sound defeated on that, surprisingly. Instead, she sounded irritated.
- On that note, she approached the fallen Rose, glaring at her. She hadn't responded or fought back when it mattered, only when it didn't. She raised a foot.... and stomped on her right leg, hard. Only then did she pick her up by the scruff of her shirt, ignoring the burn marks. "Think you can hear me? I damn well hope you can." She looked to two bipedal brooms that walked by (not bothering to ask), and called to them. "Hey! A stretcher and a medic for this one." As they nodded their handles, they ran off to get such an item.
- The maid went back to her speech. "You're worthless. You fight when it's not necessary, don't listen to someone who tells you not to fight. You see that she uses light magic, and yet you insist on fighting her. Being on a side against someone you deem to be evil, even if she is and you are not, does not automatically mean that you win. How the hell do you think I got here? Wouldn't that imply on its own that she's 'good' and I'm 'evil' by your logic? And about your fighting style. You can dish out damage, but the first time you get hit like this, get put near death, you lie on the floor and only think of your own pain, not even bothering to help. You know, if you'd run off after the first hit, I'd be a little more fine with you. But this is intolerable and idiotic. And seriously 'bamboozled'? Who talks like that? Not to mention your work ethic. You're totally fine with not listening to your own allies and the opponent herself when they say you shouldn't fight, willing to do anything to help, but the time when the prisoner is tasting f***ing feet on hands and knees to save your life? You think of your own pain, nothing else. I'd tell you what kind of person you're like, but I'm currently not at liberty to say their names."
- A pause as the sound of the brooms came back. "You're no heroine. You're a wannabe who cries to yourself any time you get a hit. I've seen someone like that once. He was a civilian in Pirth City, Arcadia." Finally it stopped, the two waiting expectantly. She practically threw her down, shoving her into the right position with no care. "You want to know why I saved your a**, again with that same licking? It has nothing to do with you. Not even slightly. It has to do with him. Your boyfriend. I don't want him to feel the pain. But you? I just want you to feel the pain of defeat. It's what makes courage, heroism. Not running around like a f***ing psychopath fighting any and all villains who ever run around. Not feigning invincibility. Someone who wants to be a hero accepts the possibility of defeat and works in spite of it, doesn't pretend it doesn't exist. But if you want my advice?" She waved for them to start moving, which they did. "Never speak to me again. And either fix your entire attitude or go the f*** home."
- She was still probably in earshot of Rose as she walked back to Rikka, knowing that the entire speech was clearly audible for her, and having a vague sense that it was similar to what she would do, sadistic as it was. She took a breath, lowering her eyes, a few tears falling from her humiliation. "I'm done. They'll handle it. Go ahead and take me home to punish. And... do you have to be so cruel when I proved I don't betray?"
