Again trying to be encouraging, you say to Esei, "Is good!"

Softly, Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk asks you, "But that doesn't just stop the worry, does it?"

You shake your head.

You have emoted: Gurashi tilts his head, mandibles clicking as he reaches out and gingerly envelopes Esei in a four-armed hug, squeezing tight.

Gently against their ear, you say to Esei, "Will be O-K, am sure."

Esei's hands flutter delicately against your back, as though unsure where to place them. Then, they wrap their fingers into your cloak, pressing their face against your shoulder. "Thank you," they mumble, voice oddly hoarse.

You have emoted: Gurashi nods, letting his response be his silence as he continues to firmly squeeze Esei into the embrace. By now a handful of ethereal cats have gathered at their feet, weaving between legs and complaining about nothing in particular considering they can't eat.

Bizirik's head begins to droop. It opens its great maw and curls back its lips to allow its forked tongue to unfurl as it yawns before snapping its mouth shut.

Esei pulls away slightly, hurriedly wiping at suspiciously wet cheeks. "Erm... play soon?"

You have emoted: Gurashi silently offers a lavender colored kerchief, nodding.

Esei shakes their head.

Esei pets an ethereal cat ingratiatingly.

You tilt your head curiously at Esei.

Quietly, you say to Esei, "Many thank yous for opening up to me about the things that have been bothering you."

Esei shuffles their feet uneasily.

Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says, "Ah, well... it is what it is."

Quieter still, you say to Esei, "Have been unfair by not reciprocating the things that have been troubling me, really."

Esei nods solemnly to you.

Softly, Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says to you, "You can talk to me, if you wish to."

Lifting his head and looking away, you say to Esei, "We will be going to the play momentarily."

Still looking away, you say to Esei, "Partly, the Divine have been asking many things of me, without giving any specifics. Hints. Want me to figure out the thing, but every idea that have had is only part of an answer, so is very frustrating."

Esei nods solemnly.

Faintly buzzing, you say to Esei, "And Lord Silence told me that did not think I could do what need to do, so that hurt a little bit, so now -really- have to know."

Esei ponders the situation.

Still looking away, almost whispering, you say to Esei, "And also partially, for a little while, there was a pretty girl [I] really believed maybe liked me."

Esei narrows their eyes to thin slits.
