  1. The Mantles of the gods are their titles, what defines them the most, and are essentially the core of a god's being.
  2. In the cosmos, each god has a single unique Mantle, one thing that defines nature god #12 from the other 11 nature gods, and things like that.
  3. The Mantles of some gods are essential to the cosmos in their own, specific ways; granting the god "superiority" over other gods who mean to use what falls under their mantle. (If a god/demigod/mage, that Frakt dislikes, tries to draw upon the power of frostfire, he can expect nothing to happen.)
  4.
  5. --------------
  6.
  7. Elder Gods: The Eldest of the Pantheon
  8.
  9. Domina, The Star Mother - an elder goddess of no domain, Domina devours gods' essences and purifies to make proper stars. The stars made seem to be "alive" and somewhat aware of their surroundings, and most of them and their 'descendants' (excluding Helios) seem to regard Domina as a mother figure they must protect and serve.
  10.
  11. Frakt, Whole Frost God - elder god of frost, the origin of all frost/cold in the cosmos and the wellspring of power that frostfire mages depend on. If Frakt falters, so does the frostfire. If Frakt rises further in power, so does the frostfire.
  12.
  13. Molinoth, the Remaker - a creation god who was unable to create, but could remake things in ways he wanted them to be.
  14.
  15. Caliban, The Sculptor - A god whose essence is entirely devoted to creating. Where other creation gods are bound by themes determined by their other domains, Caliban can essentially create anything, as long as he has been given an idea, inspiration, and a way to make it.
  16.
  17. Sleazus, the Heart of the Party - Sleazus is the heart of any and all parties, celebrations, orgies, places of merriment, the creator of booze and uncontested best drinker of the gods.
  18.
  19. -------------
  20. Prime Deities: Those who Embody a Concept or Control an important aspect of Reality
  21. Nekomious, the Transient -
  22.
  23.
  24. Greater Deities: Those who, through Name or Actions, are more important than normal Gods
  25.
  26. Heroicus, Lord of Destruction - the former god of Courage, now god of War and Destruction. In the earlier ages of the world things were created, were, and were remade. In a fit of rage directed towards the Star Mother, the first "Creation" god, Heroicus spent a few ages remaking his own essence into one of "Destruction". He can no longer create on his own, but as their source in the cosmos, he can command how the Flame of War empowers and the Forces of Destruction ruin.
  27.
  28. Barastran, the Forged - Barastran is a God who was not born, but made. His father, Caliban, used the shattered armor of Herocles, the essence of Heroicus and his own Divinity, forged a divine body of unparalleled quality for his child. As a result, Barastran has the Domains made by his progenitors, albeit reduced in power (+15 to War, Creation and Light, instead of +10 to each)
  29.
  30. Regolith, the Bright -
  31.
  32. Gæwën, the Growth - Growth grows. Growth grows on the ring that grows. The ring that grows grows with Growth. Growth grows with the ring that grows. The cosmos grows because Growth and the ring grow. Growth's growth fuels the ring. The ring guides Growth's growth. Growth grows constantly in all ways.
  33.
  34. -------
  35.
  36. Gods: The Average Deity
  37.
  38. Trasa, Weaver of Knowledge -
  39.
  40. Arethe, Godess of Colours -
  41.
  42. Voluris, the Mistress of Magic - Voluris was a powerful Binder before her godhood, and has retained that experience with the added power godhood provides. That experience in addition to her ring Calinise, which embodies an aspect of the usage of the WORD from many gods, enables her to control how mortals twist and tap into the Word and adjust it.
  43.
  44. Zerji -
  45.
  46. Tutarr, the Smith -
  47.
  48. ------
  49.
  50. Lesser Gods: Gods who embody weaker Concepts or haven't done as much (and there may or may not be demigods and mortals of great power more powerful than them)
  51.
  52. Toahw, the Lost Twins - Missing socks from the laundry? You're sure you didn't eat the last piece of cake? Can't recall something important? You can blame Toahw for all of these and more, as there is a 99% chance the Twin gods did take it, and that they stashed it on their lost comet.
