- == WHO ==
- His name is Ryan Chamberlain. He is a 42-yo white male living in San Francisco, CA while working last as a "Social Media consultant". On May 31 at 9am, the FBI issue a warrant for his apartment in the Russian Hill neighborhood. Ryan was not there. ABC7 hit readers with the initial reports about "what appeared to be" ricin at his apartment - these reports have been verified as false by FBI spokesperson Peter Lee.
- == WHAT ==
- The FBI claims Chamberlain is "armed and dangerous" based entirely on supposition. Although Lee said "there is no risk to public safety," he claimed to have found explosive materials inside Chamberlain's apartment. They also claim to be "unsure whether" he possesses any materials with him in his car, but earlier claimed that his vehicle could be rigged to explode.
- == WHY ITS STRANGE ==
- Read his history, Ryan is all over the internet. First alternative media reports came from right-wing media slamming Chamberlain for his "climate change" tweets as a "dangerous leftists," but subsequent findings show that Chamberlain has worked for both Democrats and Republicans almost equally.
- Meanwhile, Ryan's background and relationships do not indicate a reason for this supposed behavior. For a man who updates his twitter and Facebook several times daily for years, its odd that he would disappear at 6:05 PM on the night before the FBI served their warrant.
- Where is Ryan? He has not made any threats, and the FBI swears no one is in danger. In fact, he tweeted not only on the day of the raid, but TODAY when he rebuked all the current reports about him.
- There was never any ricin in what authorities called “the amount of ricin they found is on a scale larger than ever seen before in San Francisco”. Who tipped the FBI off in the first place? What was the warrant served for? And why is Chamberlain on the run?
- One of his coworkers mentioned that they didn’t think he was actually living in the apartment that they raided. But Friday night he tweeted about finding money in a rarely-worn suit, so it seems like he had to have been home at least once this weekend. They conducted the raid at 9am Saturday morning, so somehow in that 15-hour window (between 6pm Friday and 9am Saturday) Chamberlain eluded the FBI (and continues to do so) and manages to send out a tweet reply at 1:15 about sports. He doesn't acknowledge the raid until his auto-letter comes out, and even then its only a passive reference. It isn't until today that he actually makes another tweet at 1:20pm EST (what we see above is 10:20 pacific time).
- Where is he hiding?
