Site Slowly Dropping in Rank Everyday
My site is slowly dropping in rank over the past week. Every day it drops 1-3 stops. A week ago I was in position number 5 and now I'm midway on page 3....

The keyword is "Make Money Online 2019", so I'm thinking the reason is more people are writing articles with that keyword every day that are outranking me.

I can think of any other reason my site would tank in ranking so fast.

I bought a few pbn links for the page and have been writing web 2.0 articles to rank it.

Thoughts? Advice?
looks like lots of sites are just updating existing articles and putting the year 2019 in the meta titles and keywording the articles. this is probably why. Or the recent algo update/patch they are doing might have your site dancing. I have an article that same thing is happening too now. went from #22 >> #70's
Are you taking any steps to combat this? I was excited, thought my site would stay #5 when 2019 came around and saw my traffic skyrocket.

Advice - Stop targeting (and spending money ranking) that keyword.

I have been doing SEO for quite some time and can easily tell your ranks will dip further. Resistance is futile.

lets divide this in parts

1) DA and PA metrics are external to google. You don't know exactly what read google/rank brain and other voodoo tecniques
2) you dont know the user activity on the website of this competitor
3) maybe you think you have good content and optimized but 1 user enter to your website, leave the site and search again
4) maybe you have worst ctr and activity than competitor
5) i see that website on page 2, maybe you want people clicking on these website :devil:

Other sites are updating their articles, and you are getting more competition.. also google love fresh content so maybe they push you down to rank other sites higher. You can resist but i think PBNs wont help you much i had one website rank 2 years #1 then one day suddenly drop from #1 to #3 then to #7 then #9 and i never seen first page again no matter how many quality links i added or whatever i tried to do onpage. How cheap were the pbn links?
Turn of xml rpc to shave off some loading time.

The site has too thin content when compared to your competitors. I'd beef up the content at least 8x of your current total words on the ranking page.

Stop building links and start adding more content to the current ranking page. Your new content should be optimised for these keywords.

We've had 6 google updates for the month of november and it looks like this month will also be a lively one, due to the christmas season - these updates can definitely make anyone's ranking fluctuate in the process.
But a strong link profile can definitely help your site prevail in the process.
