Transport Reform Act 2018

BE IT ENACTED by Kingy’s most excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:--

1: Investing in Infastrcture
	(1) Reinstate pedestrianisation initiatives in urban areas
	(2) Invest in segregated cycle lanes in major urban centres and start a pilot scheme for similar proposals in other areas.
	(3) To support the needs of investment in our infrastructure and to alleviate the problems caused by the quarantine rendering bus companies inoperable, a National Bus & Tram Company is to be created to be in charge of all bus routes, and integrated routing and ticketing will be introduced.
	(4) To provide funds for feasibility studies for future expansion of planned and current public transport infrastructure.
		 a: To that end, the Government will work in conjunction with the relevant Local Authorities to support the expansion of Tram 		 systems and other forms of urban transport infrastructure.

	This Act affects the whole of the UK and its territories.
3: Commencement
	This Act comes into effect immediately
