The app I will be creating will have a landing page with a title and information about what the app can do.
It will say something like this:
Step 1:  Enter 2 ingredients you have on hand (2 text input boxes)
Step 2:  (Optional) Enter desired calorie range of meal. (2 text input boxes)
Step 3:  Find a Recipe (large submit button)

Results of the recipe search will be displayed on the same page in a horizontally scrollable series of divs.
Suggested wine pairings will be displayed below the scrollable menu suggestions.

The results are initially hidden and then will be revealed upon submit.
