- Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) has assigned the case of three Muslim terrorists to Akram Sheikh. The three terrorists are two brothers Ali and Abbas Ramani, and their girlfriend, Laila. Akram takes charge of this case, and asks his superiors to get Rachit to assist him. Rachit used to be an associate of the Ramani brothers, but was double-crossed by them. Rachit had escaped from prison and had killed one person, and had been re-captured and is now serving time in a high security prison. Akram does get permission to get Rachit to accompany him. Both of them, together with a team of ace commandos set out to capture the trio, only to find out that a missile containing a deadly virus, is aimed by them at various lakes, and water reservoirs in and around Bombay City, and no power on Earth is going to stop them from launching this missile.
- In a view to acquire Kashmir, India; the Pakistani force ISI decides to send down three of their agents Abbas and Ali Ramani along with their girlfriend Laila to India. The mission the three undertaken consist of aiming a deadly virus using a missile in and around all the water reservoirs and by abducting and locking up some of Kashmir's citizens in an abandoned jail so that the Indian government can comply with their wishes. Their case is handed down to a capable CBI officer Akram Sheikh who comes around with a plan to crush these ISI agents by taking his crew through an underground tunnel to reach the duo hide-out. The only person that knows his way through this tunnel is a prisoner also an enemy of Abbas and Ali, Rachit.

Riya Sen as usual is unimpressive! But she isn't so irritating because her role is very brief!<br/><br/>6.Sapna(Neha Dhupia):Sapna,is Rachit's love interest,who now is not with Rachit due to circumstances.She is a simple girl who knows what LOVE really means!Neha Dhupia is OK but not much can be said about her performance because her voice was dubbed.<br/><br/>THE STORY:<br/><br/>Rahul Gupta Is a Master Mind Handsome Brilliant Young Scientist Who Wants To Make an Anti Virus/Anti Dode to Prevent The Deadly Virus Of Abbas Ali & Laila,Akram Sheikh is a person who loves his country and hires a criminal Rachit to help him fight against terrorism!Ali,Abbas and Laila are the ones who have got Mumbai under threat!They have smuggled in a deadly virus,which can kill many Mumbaikres!Not only,Mumbai but India is also under a great threat.This is all for the lust of power! What Will The Young Scientist Rahul Gupta, Akram Sheikh and Rachit do???<br/><br/>THE WORK OF THE CREW:<br/><br/>Harry Baweja's direction is amazing.He has handled every scene with sensitivity and has extracted good performances from everyone!He has made a very modern film for Bollywood and his extra effort can be seen throughout the film!Special effects are simply the best!I have never seen such amazing special effects in any Bollywood film ever.This film needs to be seen on the big screen.Screenplay is gripping where as the editing is loose,because the film drags at places.Nadeem-Shravan's music is nice and ''Woh Ladki Bahut Yaad Aati Hai'' "Title Track ''Dil Chura Liya'' are nice songs but "Yaar Pyaar Hogaya" is The Best Of All Cuz The Dazzling Hottest Handsome Ashish Chowdhry Is Sensationaly Wow in The Song<br/><br/>Final Verdict:<br/><br/>Qayamat is a well-made film and is worth a watch! Good Matrix Style Action Thriller With Good Songs Thrills Special Effects and Different sets like an Underground Tunnel,a jail and a Scientific Laboratory!, But The Genuine Soul Of The Movie is The Excellent Performance By The Highly Talented Handsome Supremo Ashish Chowdhry, Ashish is The Best & is Cut Above The Rest !
- This is an excellent movie for anyone who watches a lot of Indian movies, but not a lot of Hollywood movies. Thats because its a rip-off of 'The Rock'. I would have enjoyed it more if I had not watched 'The Rock'. There were some unnecessary special effects in this movie that were annoying sometimes. I would give it a 2 out of 5.
