  10. >sometimes it would be a light knocking, as though a bird outside is pecking away at a pebble

  13. >on a couple occassion on days of no particular note a thundering roar coming from earth itself
  14. >and the shaking permeating throughout the local area
  15. >needless to say people were scared

  31. >Once they got to the door they saw that it was unlocked
  32. >They cracked open the door and shouted 'Is anybody home?'
  33. >But they were greeted with a solemn silence and a peculiar smell
  34. >They decided to look around
  35. >They saw a clean room with small ammounts of dust here and there
  36. >They saw a plate with half eaten, mostly rotten food
  37. >A still running computer with the browser open to a strange cryptozoology website
  38. >Looking some more around the house the collectors did not find anything wierd or out of place
  39. >Car still in the garage, fridge still has some food in it
  40. >Seemed as though someone simply steped out for a second
  41. >A week or so ago
  42. >Never to return
  43. >Soon a similar scene was discovered all along the block
  44. >All had half eaten food rotting
  45. >All had running computers
  46. >All browsers were open to that strange website
  47. >Police investigated but found nothing
  48. >The case went cold
  49. >Years passed
  50. >Houses went from owner to owner but none seemed to stay for long
  51. >Some mysteriously vanishing others loosing all their sanity
