- Covet: Cadence was in the bathroom, trying to give Rosie a bath because this mofo dumped his litter tray over and made a mess and desperately needs to be re-fluffed and smelling pretty. She took a deep breath and got Rosie out of the sink after getting him rinsed off , and bundled him up in a towel before setting him on the floor to run around and dry himself off.
- Tsaaq: Remy came from the kitchen to the bedroom, seeing that Cadence was not around he looked around and went towards the bathroom. "Babe, is everything okay?" He asked out loud.
- Covet: "Yeah, I'm in the bathroom. Rosie made a mess and needed a bath." She told him, cracking the door open while she grabbed the skunk and ruffled him with the towel making him all fluffy, as he made grumbly skunk noises and shook off afterwords, only aiding in the fluffiness. Once she was done she opened the door to free him and walk out, tossing the towel into the laundry. " I'm okay though..." She said softly, feeling mostly better after the events of Thursday.
- Tsaaq: He made his way closer to the bathrooom, leaning on the wall a moment before his eyes followed her carefully. "Are you sure? I was thinking maybe you'd want to lay down or something, or I'll leave you alone. I just want to make sure you're good."
- Covet: "Thanks, I know I've been on edge all weekend. I'm sorry." Cadence said feeling a little guilty. " We could lay down together.. I don't really want to be alone...unless you have things you need to do...." She trailed off, she was frustrated that she had been thrown off by ANOTHER shooting in Portland.
- Tsaaq: Remy shook his head. "I've put everything off so I can have time for you." He said quietly as he took her hand and led her to the bed. "Come on." He said as he went to sit down at the edge of the bed. "It makes sense for you to be on edge."
- Covet: "You didn't have to do that, Babe." She said softly with a smile as he took her to the bed. When she sat down she wrapped her arms around him and leaned against his shoulder. " I appreciate you shelfing things to make sure I'm okay though. It means a lot to me. How... are you doing after all of that?"
- Tsaaq: He shook his head. "It's okay, your well being is more important." He said softly. Remy went to just lay down, bringing her with him as he yawned. "I'm fine. I only heard shit you know, worse has happened to me. I'm not entirely freaked out." He shrugged. "it's just shitty."
- Covet: Cadence laid down with him, wrapping her arms around his torso, resting her head on his chest. "Yeah, very shitty." She mumbled and looked up to him, "You know your well being means a lot to me too... Right?" She asked him.
- Tsaaq: "Of course." He replied with a shrug. "But I'm okay, so it doesn't really matter right now. You're the one I'm worried about." Remy said, before kissing her forehead.
- Covet: "Are you sure? Because... before all this stuff happened, You've been a little distant. I gave you your space because you said everything was fine, But I'd be lying if I still wasn't concerned about you." She said leaning into his kiss, looking at him, " So of course it matters. You matter to me."
- Tsaaq: Remy furrowed his eyebrows. "Distant to who? Surely not to you?" He asked a little skeptically. "I mean, I don't know. I'm a busy guy and I've got a lot on my plate and shit but that doesn't mean you're not important to me."
- Covet: "Just, distant in general, I suppose. I know you're busy which is why I don't press it much, and I know I'm important to you, but you worry me when you say things, like you stayed in bed all day." Cadence sighed and laid her head down on his chest, " I guess I wish I knew more of what was going on in that pretty head of yours, sometimes."
- Tsaaq: He let out a sigh and went to pet Cadence's hair while she spoke. "I don't know, what can I say? I'm old and tired all the time." He said nonchalantly. "It's okay. I promise." He whispered as he put his hand on her cheek.
- Covet: "You're not even that old." She said to him with a soft laugh. "I get the tired part though. Especially with how busy and how hard you've been working lately." She looked up at him as he said things were okay, "You're absolutely positive you're okay though? She asked clearly needing that reassurance. Needy bitch.
- Tsaaq: "I'm fine, I swear on everything I love." He said with a nod. "I just have to do a lot more lately. And once I get home I'm just beat, I don't want to be bothered with stuff, especially like negativity so I guess I have to just get the hang of always being busy. I've never really tried until the past couple years so being active is new to me."
- Covet: "Okay." She said, believing him, "Is there anything I can do for you to help make all of that easier?" She asked him, glancing up at him. "Give you foot and shoulder rubs when you get home, Have dinner on the table... I can't say I'll cook, but there will be dinner on the table."
- Tsaaq: "Shush and let's fall asleep is the best thing right now. The house-wifey stuff you just listed also sounds nice." He yawned again. "We can discuss this later and think up the deets." He closed his eyes as he leaned against her.
- Covet: "Hey, I'm gonna be a housewife, might as well get in the practice now." She told him with a laugh, leaning up to kiss him once he was done yawning. She wrapped her arms around him and played with his hair until they both probably fell asleep.
