  5. Manual Installation Guide for ComfyUI + Z-IMAGE TURBO
  6. This guide explains how to manually install ComfyUI with the Z-IMAGE TURBO model, custom nodes and all required files.
  7. It is split in two parts:
  8.
  9.
  10.
  11. ====================================================
  12. PART A - LOCAL WINDOWS INSTALL (NVIDIA, WINDOWS ONLY)
  13. STEP 1: PREREQUISITES
  14. Before you start, make sure you have:
  15.
  16.
  17. 7-Zip (to extract ComfyUI)
  18. Download: https://www.7-zip.org/
  19.
  20.
  21. Git for Windows (to install custom nodes)
  22. Download: https://git-scm.com/download/win
  23.
  24.
  25. Windows 10 and 11 already include "curl", which we will use to download some files.
  26. STEP 2: DOWNLOAD AND EXTRACT COMFYUI
  27.
  28.
  29. Download the ComfyUI portable version for NVIDIA GPUs:
  30. ComfyUI portable v0.3.75:
  31. https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/releases/download/v0.3.75/ComfyUI_windows_portable_nvidia.7z
  32.
  33.
  34. Once the file is downloaded, right click on it and extract it with 7-Zip.
  35.
  36.
  37. After extraction, your folder should look like this:
  38. ComfyUI_windows_portable
  39. ComfyUI
  40. models
  41. custom_nodes
  42. python_embeded
  43. run_nvidia_gpu.bat
  44. You will work inside this "ComfyUI_windows_portable" folder for the rest of the install.
  45. STEP 3: INSTALL REQUIRED CUSTOM NODES
  46.
  47.
  48. Go to the "custom_nodes" folder:
  49. ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\custom_nodes
  50.
  51.
  52. In the Explorer window, click on the address bar at the top, type:
  53. cmd
  54. and press ENTER.
  55. This opens a Command Prompt already inside the "custom_nodes" folder.
  56.
  57.
  58. In this Command Prompt, run these commands one by one to clone all required nodes:
  59. git clone https://github.com/ltdrdata/ComfyUI-Manager.git
  60. git clone https://github.com/city96/ComfyUI-GGUF
  61. git clone https://github.com/rgthree/rgthree-comfy
  62. git clone https://github.com/yolain/ComfyUI-Easy-Use
  63. git clone https://github.com/kijai/ComfyUI-KJNodes
  64. git clone https://github.com/ssitu/ComfyUI_UltimateSDUpscale
  65. git clone https://github.com/cubiq/ComfyUI_essentials
  66. git clone https://github.com/wallish77/wlsh_nodes
  67. git clone https://github.com/vrgamegirl19/comfyui-vrgamedevgirl
  68. git clone https://github.com/ClownsharkBatwing/RES4LYF
  69. git clone https://github.com/Jonseed/ComfyUI-Detail-Daemon
  70. git clone https://github.com/ChangeTheConstants/SeedVarianceEnhancer
  71. git clone https://github.com/Fannovel16/comfyui_controlnet_aux
  72.
  73.
  74. Now you need to install the Python requirements for each node.
  75. Go back to the root ComfyUI folder:
  76. ComfyUI_windows_portable\
  77. The portable version already includes Python inside "python_embeded", so you do NOT need to install Python yourself.
  78. In this folder, open a new Command Prompt:
  79.
  80.
  81. Click in the address bar
  82.
  83.
  84. Type: cmd
  85.
  86.
  87. Press ENTER
  88.
  89.
  90. Then run the following commands:
  91. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-Manager\requirements.txt
  92. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-GGUF\requirements.txt
  93. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\rgthree-comfy\requirements.txt
  94. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-Easy-Use\requirements.txt
  95. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-KJNodes\requirements.txt
  96. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI_UltimateSDUpscale\requirements.txt
  97. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI_essentials\requirements.txt
  98. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\wlsh_nodes\requirements.txt
  99. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui-vrgamedevgirl\requirements.txt
  100. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\RES4LYF\requirements.txt
  101. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-Detail-Daemon\requirements.txt
  102. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\SeedVarianceEnhancer\requirements.txt
  103. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui_controlnet_aux\requirements.txt
  104.
  105. If one of the folders does not have a "requirements.txt" file, you can skip that one.
  106. STEP 4: DOWNLOAD Z-IMAGE TURBO MODEL FILES (LOCAL)
  107. All Z-IMAGE TURBO files are hosted on Hugging Face under this base folder:
  108. Base URL:
  109. https://huggingface.co/Aitrepreneur/FLX/tree/main
  110. You can either download from your browser or use "curl" in Command Prompt.
  111. All paths below are relative to:
  112. ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\models\
  113. 4.1 TEXT ENCODER
  114. Path:
  115. ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\models\text_encoders\
  116. File:
  117. Qwen3-4B-UD-Q6_K_XL.gguf
  118. Create the "text_encoders" folder if it does not exist.
  119. Example using curl (from the models folder):
  120.
  121.
  122. Open Command Prompt in:
  123. ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\models
  124.
  125.
  126. Run:
  127. curl -L -o "text_encoders\Qwen3-4B-UD-Q6_K_XL.gguf" "https://huggingface.co/Aitrepreneur/FLX/resolve/main/Qwen3-4B-UD-Q6_K_XL.gguf?download=true"
