Master Yoda, like Yaddle, had closed his eyes. She felt what he knew was there—two hearts beating, very fast at first, but now slowing from the approach of asphyxiation. Yaddle felt the fight within them. One, attuned to the Force. She knew her lighted life was soon to be extinguished, and with it, sadness and peace stirred inside her.
	I want to seek, her heart said. I want to learn. I am not ready, but I am willing to bear what is to be.
	The other being possessed a tangled soul full of regret, anguish, and love. Much love, and strength beyond his own conscious abilities. Unlike the Jedi, he was not at peace with his possible fate. He had amends to make. He was not ready to die.
