  5. At any time during the game, you can access the EssentialGUI Options Menu by pressing the F12 key. Also you can access by pressing the button located at Minecraft's Options Menu Screen.

  17. 1. HUD SECTIONS
  18. 1.1. CLIENT/PLAYER & WORLD (HUD with different styles, toggleable through F12 options)
  19. 1.1.1. CLIENT PERFORMANCE:
  20.  
  21. · CLIENT FPS: Shows client frames per second.
  22. · CLIENT CPU LOAD: Shows the recent CPU usage by the system.
  23. · CLIENT LATENCY: Shows client latency (Multiplayer only).
  24. · CLIENT MEMORY: Shows the total amount of memory in use by Minecraft.
  25. · NETWORK PACKETS: Shows sent and received packets (Multiplayer only).

  27. 1.1.2. PLAYER POSITION:

  29. · PLAYER COORDINATES: Shows player's coordinates.
  30. · DIMENSIONAL COORDINATES: Shows player's Overworld coordinates when in The Nether.
  31. · STAND-BLOCK CHUNK: Shows player's within a chunk position.
  32. · PLAYER FACING: Shows where player is facing at.
  33. · FACING AXIS INFO: Shows player's facing axis.
  34. · PLAYER ROTATION: Shows player's yaw and pitch degrees.
  35. · STAND-BLOCK LIGHT: Shows the light level of the block at player position.
  36. · PLAYER SPEED: Shows current player speed in blocks per second.

  38. 1.1.3. WORLD INFO:

  40. · BIOME NAME: Shows current biome name.
  41. · LOADED ENTITIES: Shows rendered / total entities loaded.
  42. · LOADED BLOCK ENTITIES: Shows total block entities loaded.
  43. · WORLD TIME: Shows current world time. The format can be toggled (hour / ticks).
  44. · WORLD DAYS: Shows total days of the current world.

  46. 1.2. PLAYER WARNING (Bottom-Left)
  47.  
  48. · TIME SINCE LAST REST: Shows number of days the player has not slept. Phantoms will appear past 3 days.
  49. · HEALTH WARNING: A warning heart icon will show up when player's health begins to drop.
  50. · HUNGER WARNING: A warning hunger icon will show up when player's hunger begins to drop.
  51. · OXYGEN LEVEL: When submerged in water, a warning icon and progress bar will appear. A secondary hud will also show up near the cursor (toggleable through F12 options).
  52. · FREEZING WARNING: A warning frozen heart icon will show up when player is inside Powder Snow block (after 7 seconds inside this block, the player will start getting damage).
  53. · CRITICAL HEALTH WARNING: When player's health drop to 10 or less, cursor texture will change to red. Also this option removes alpha transparency to default crosshair texture.
  54. · SATURATION WARNING: When your hunger saturation is > 0, a green + (plus) will shown in your hunger bar.

  56. 1.3. POINTED BLOCK (Top-Center)

  58. · EXTENDED INFO: It will show block name (blue if waterlogged), coordinates, light and harvestable icons.
  59. · BREAKING PROGRESS: If enabled a breaking progress will appear at block name.
  60. · ADVANCED PROPERTIES: If you press and hold contextual menu <Left-Alt> by default (configurable) while pointing to a block, it will show advanced properties like block states, growing stages...

  62. 1.4. POINTED ENTITY (Top-Center)

  64. · STATS BARS: It will show entity health and oxygen level bars (toggleable location).
  65. · EXTENDED INFO: It will show entity name and health/coordinates.
  66. · ARMOR STAND EQUIPMENT: Shows armor stand equipment when pointing to them.
  67. · ADVANCED PROPERTIES: If you press and hold contextual menu <Left-Alt> by default (configurable) while pointing to a entity, it will show advanced properties.

  69. 1.5. PLAYER EQUIPMENT:
  70. 1.5.1. EQUIPMENT HUD (Press and hold contextual menu, Left-Alt Key by default while not pointing to anything)

  72. · EQUIPMENT: Shows your equipped armor, sword/tool and shield. Also will show your arrows amount (quiver).
  73. · XP STATS: Shows your current xp level and total score points.
  74. · HEALTH STATS: Shows your health value and hunger / saturation levels.
  75. · ENCHANTMENT PROTECTION FACTOR (EPF): Shows your total armor points / Tough armor value and your enchantment protection factor, it depends on the enchantments on your armor.

  77. · ATTACK STATS: Shows your attack damage and attack speed values.
  78. · STATUS EFFECTS: It will show your active status effects and duration in text format.

  80. 1.5.2. QUIVER HUD (Left side of the Quick Bar)

  82. · While wielding a bow/crossbow, a quiver hud will appear near the action bar showing your arrows amount.

  86. · When holding a food, a hunger slot will appear indicating the amount that satiates.

  88. 1.5.4. LOW DURABILITY WARNING (Bottom of the crosshair)

  90. · When the equiped tool/weapon durability drops to 20 or more, it will show a blinking durability bar near the crosshair.

  92. 1.5.5. ON-SCREEN EQUIPMENT (Right side of the screen, toggleable position)

  94. · ITEM DURABILITY: It will show the durability of the armor pieces.
  95. · DURABILITY FORMAT: Toggle between damage of percent format.
  96. · ARMS EQUIPMENT: Shows the equipment of your arms.
  97. · TEXTURE TYPE: Cycles between EssentilaGUI, Vanilla and none texture.

  99. 1.5.6. SHULKER BOX & BUNDLE CONTENT HUD (center of the screen)

  101. · If you press and hold contextual menu <Left-Alt> by default (configurable) while holding a non-empty Shulker Box/Bundle, a hud will pop up showing his contents.

  103. 1.6. BIOME/WEATHER/TIME (Top-Left, toggleable)

  105. · This section will show a HUD with day, night, biome and weather icons. In addition and if the moon phase is appropiate, will show an icon indicating the spawning quality of the slimes in the swamps.

  107. 1.7. ADVANCED ITEM TOOLTIPS:

  109. · ITEM DURABILITY: Will show the item durability and percent without F3+H enabled.
  110. · ITEM PENALTY: This option will show and indicate the penalty level of the item (times repaired).
  111. · ADVANCED FOOD STATS: When hovering a food item, it will show Restored Hunger, Saturation and Restored Saturation values.
  112. · BEE NEST/BEEHIVE INFO: When hovering, it will show Honey Level and Bees amount.
  113. · LODESTONE COMPASS INFO: This option will show the coordinates and dimension of the linked Lodestone.
  114. · BUNDLE CAPACITY: Shows the bundle capacity percent.
  115. · AXOLOTL BUCKET INFO: This option will show the variant and health of the captured axolotl.

  117. 2. VANILLA HUD CHANGES:

  119. · RENDER PUMPKIN OVERLAY: This option removes the first-person overlay texture of the pumpkin.
  120. · RENDER VIGNETTE OVERLAY: This option removes the overlay corners texture (this texture darkens the screen angles).
  121. · WITHER DARKEN SKY: This option disables the sky darkening when the player is near a Wither Boss.
  122. · RENDER RAIN PARTICLES: Toggle the rendering of the rain particles.
  123. · RENDER OTHER PARTICLES: Toggle the rendering of miscelaneous particles (block breaking, potion effects...).
  124. · STATUS EFFECTS: This option controls the rendering, position and duration of the active Status Effects.

  126. 3. BLOCK OUTLINE CUSTOMIZATION

  128. This section allows you to change the block outline color and transparency that appears when you look at it.

  130. 4. OTHER FEATURES:

  132. · TOGGLE SMOOTH LIGHTING: While in-game if you press <F9> key, it will toggle the different lighting modes.
  133. · DEBUG LOADED ENTITIES: While in-game if you press <F10> key, a hud will pop up showing all the entities loaded and the amount.
  134. · ZOOM: Press and hold the <z> key.
  135. · GAMMA LEVEL: During the game, if you press <+> and/or <-> keys, the gamma level will increase or decrease. If the color of the action bar messages turns red means that the selected value beyonds vanilla defaults.
  136. · TEXT BACKGROUND: Fixed background height of Item Held Item Tooltip and Ingame messages.
  137. · AXOLOTL IN A BUCKET VARIANTS: Depending of axolotl variant captured, it will change the item texture.

  157. #1: If you don't want the 3D models or any block model modification, you can disable it by opening EssentialGUI.jar with your favorite compressor, head to "assets\minecraft\models" and delete the file/s you want.
  158.  
  159. #2: If something goes wrong with my mod and any section or option does not work properly, try to remove the configuration file located at "your_minecraft_folder\config\EssentialGUI\config.json".
