- Weather also has an impact on your score. Here is a list of which weathers could impact your score in one way or another (if a weather is not mentioned, it has no benefit or penalty):
- Drizzle: if you use a spellcard with drizzle, your total damage score will be reduced by a percentage.
- Cloudy: Doubles the rate at which meter fills, so useful for things like youmu infinite loops
- Blue sky: You can cancel skills into other skills.
- Hail: Spirit regen is twice as fast, meaning this is useful for loops that use more than 5 orbs. Your damage score will be reduced by a percentage for using this weather to balance out the damage increase.
- Tempest: Maximum airdashes are 3 instead of 2. Ground movement and air-dashes are much faster.
- River mist: The distance between you and the enemy oscillates. For masochists.
- Typhoon: Superarmor. Damage and counter score are decreased by a sizeable percentage.
- Dust Storm: Counter hitstun is longer. Useful for rejump loops.
- Scorching Sun: Your damage is increased when you are high in the sky. The damage score will be lowered by a percentage.
- Monsoon: Subtracts your counter score for every other jab ability (4a, 5a, f5a, or any melee that doesn't increase limit) used on ground bounce. Any combo that is tech-able but still links for limit will incur penalties. I'll trust you on this, because it'll only be embarrassing for you if you don't let me know and other people find out and I have to penalize your combo retroactively once people see it.
- MISC RULES:
- Any combo that has combo resets is disqualified. Proration resets will only use 25% of the damage after the first combo.
