Million Mask March Los Angeles 2016 Press Release

Greetings Citizens of Los Angeles. We are Anonymous.

We are here to inform you about our annual Million Mask March. The Million Mask March is a WORLDWIDE event that takes place on November 5th, in cities all over the world.The Million Mask March is an event in which we get off our computers and bring the heat, to the streets. During this event we blow the lids off of issues troubling our communities, cities, and government.Issues such as police brutality, the homeless, government spying, the Trans Pacific Partnership, the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act, and various other topics that affect our society as a whole.

We ask of you to join us on November 5th, 11 am, (March to begin at Noon),to protest and march in solidarity with our brothers and sisters worldwide. So that we may show the world, that we are tired of the injustice, corruption, and lack of care from our tyrannical Governments. We would also like to ask for those of you who cannot make it physically, that you join us in spirit. Show your solidarity to Anonymous and what we are working towards, by wearing a GuyFawkes Mask where ever you are, at work, school, or simply running errands.

In recent years, we've had several infiltrators who have tried to sabotage the Movement. Let us NOT FORGET that this event also brings out families, WITH CHILDREN. We ask of you, to PLEASE remain PEACEFUL at ALL TIMES. If you see someone begin to instigate any sort of violence or acts that may cause harm to anyone, please turn your backs towards the individuals. We understand that some of us have built up rage, but let's not let it get in the way of our mission. Violence is not the solution. It will only make us look bad. We are there to spread a message, not to fight. We strongly encourage you to bring comfortable shoes, because we will be walking a lot. It is also recommended to bring water, so that you may stay hydrated. Trail mix or protein bars are also recommended. If you have any medical issues, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our Street Medics marked with red crosses and often black and red masks.

Let us show the world that fairness, justice and freedom are more than just words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this Government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what we see, if you feel as we feel, and if you would seek as we seek, then we ask you to stand beside us on the fifth of November, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot!
