For Derek, it ws just another sucky day at school. He wished something would happen. The loudspeaker blared. "Lock down, there is a gang at our school! Derek did what he was told, fiddling with the pocketknife and pencils in his pocket. Everybody had to huddle down in the teachers office. A couple of minutes later, the door was kicked open. Derek was happy, for once in his life. Even if he died, it would at least be eventful. Some strange people with fangs came in and started attacking the students. Derek took out his pocketknife and slashed at the men, but the strange men seemed not to be affected by the wounds.

	"FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST, THEY'RE VAMPIRES!!!! TAKE OUT YOUR PENCILS AND STAB THEM IN THE HEART" Derek screeched as loud as he possibly could. He tossed his pocketknife away and took out some pencils and started stabbing the vampires. Soon enough, he felt a sharp pain in the wrist. He looked down and saw a vampire's teeth stuck in him. He ripped the vampire off of his wrist and stabbed the vampire. Derek felt strange, but in a good way. He punched a vampire . It sailed through the window. Derek was apparentley a lot stronger. He tackled his way through the vampires and went out of the door. Swarms of people were screaming and biting each other. "Must be more vampires and humans" Derek muttered.  Derek saw blood splattered everywhere. He hopped the fence surrounding the school and ran as fast as he could and as far as he could. When he stopped, somebody said "Holah, senor" a child said to him. Derek sighed. This would be a long day.

	Derek ran around and found an old lady at a shopping stand. There were a lot of wooden stakes and charms on the table. Derek sighed. This was not going to be pretty. Derek knocked everybody around him out. He quickly took some wooden stakes, a silver dagger and sword. He put his schoolbooks on the table and put the scabbard for the dagger and sword. He slapped a few of his dollars down on the table and left an apology note. Derek hightailed it out of there before the police came.

	Derek ran off again, to his friend Erik's house. He didn't even break a sweat going to the house. People seeing him reported a moving blur. Derek smashed though Erik's door and literally picked up Erik. "WHAT THE HELL, MAN?" Erik yelled. "Pick a country" said Derek. "CANADA" Erik yelled. Derek ran through the wall. He took out his compass and map, and started runningtoward canada, thinking about how he was the fastest man in the world right now. Except for The Flash.

	After several minutes of bouncing off of a lot of cars and buildings, causing a lot of property damage along the way?, Derek arrived at canada and put Erik down. Derek explained what had happened to Erik. "Look around for a strong man competition, or marathon, or something. Make sure it has prize money, cuz that is what we need. "Okay" said Erik.
