  1. Outside
  2. The shelter is a hideous and strange thing made entirely of strong vines, mottled blue and black crab shells, claws and legs, and clear volcanic glass on the outside. To be specific, it is made of crab back shells hand cut and drilled, lashed onto frames made of crab legs via strong vines, and any gaps filled with clear volcanic glass. Its door is made up of crab claws lashed together that swing open and closed like a saloon door, but cover the whole entrance.

  4. Inside
  5. Inside is a hammock on the left side after entering, made up of vines woven together. The floor is covered with some sort of cleaned and sterilized hide with soft fur, and from the ceiling hang vines in which are tangled large cowrie shells and chunks of colored volcanic glass, as well as drying flowers and bags woven from vines (which usually contain some sort of food that holdsl. To the right is a crab shell upside down, with three holes through which there are 3 crab legs tied together so it's proper up, containing a tiny fire for warmth. In the center of the room, towards the back of it, is a table made from a crab shell and the legs of a giant crab, and there are four chairs made of the same material, all held together by vines. In specifics, the seats and backs are made from crab shell cushioned with pillows made of furred hide stuffed with feathers, the legs and back from crab legs. The table is made of an hourglass shape made of crab legs tied together by vines, then an upside down crab shell on top, with holes drilled in and lashed to the square of the leg frames by vines. The walls are decorated with white paint in abstract designs and more furred hides, shells, and pieces of glass, and there's two shelves on the wall across the door, and a shelf on either side of the door. One shelf has a toy truck and the two on either side of the door have speakers on them. The speaker they connect to sits on the floor to the right of the door.

  7. How It Is Built
  8. The frame is sixteen feet wide by twenty four feet long by sixteen feet tall, not counting the roof. It's made by four to five foot long crab leg segments, empty of meat, scrubbed clean, and sterilized, lashed together into four foot by four foot squares, then said squares into grids to make the appropriate dimensions, leaving an 8 foot by 8 foot gap for a door in the middle bottom of a long side. The grids were then lashed together into the frame of the house, and the remaining 20 legs used to make a slanted roof with rectangular top. The giant shell backs of the crabs (appeox. 10 ft in diameter) were then scrubbed clean and sanitized, then measured and hand cut with a hand saw enough that they wouldn't hit each other, but could still overlap on curved sections. They were then hand drilled with a hand drill to have holes through which strong vines were laced, and with which they were bound to the frame of the shelter. This results in many holes and gaps, and an eight foot by eight foot opening in the middle bottom of one of the long sides, as well as the entirety of the rest angle on the roof. However, these gaps (other than the door gap) are covered by clear volcanic glass held by vines. The door gap is made by giant crab claws (approx 2 ft wide and 4 ft long) lashed together and bound to the frame loose enough they swung like saloon doors, but tight enough that they wouldn't come off.
