#PastebinMonday 12/05/2022 I Could Use a Tutorial on Writing Tutorials Edition

'Sup, doods!

My attention deficit issues are making it difficult for me to sit down and write the last bits of these tutorial scripts I am writing. My body wants to resist every time it runs into some sort of difficulty and move on to another activity. I think I posed a question on Twitter recently about having multiple tabs of YouTube videos loaded at once. My attention span doesn't last long enough to focus on one video for too long. Really, I need to stop watching produced YouTube content as background noise, but I get bored when there is no noise. I have an idea of when I can take off work to see a doctor for those issues.

In any case, I have been TASing Tetris Attack and Pokémon Puzzle League to get precise timings to reference in my videos. I think I have things to reveal once I've vetted the findings more. I would love to have a script complete enough to start filming before Christmas and there is a world where I can channel the commitment to do just that, but only if I get enough sleep. It is technically Sunday night as I write this and I need to sleep soon so I will have the energy. (I did not get much sleep.)

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I am in the middle of compiling all of the technical specifications common to the series and for each individual game. At this point, I feel like I will end up writing all of the scripts before filming anything. I am going into the tank to focus on this as much as I can. I have zero plans to stream from now until registration for the Tetris Attack tournament opens in February. Well, there is the Dr. Mario tournament in January that was just announced and I will restream, but that's about all I have planned.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to lean into the Puzzle League aesthetic, but I have multiple ideas rattling around. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.
