Welcome new and returning players. You may be wondering what's going on or what is this weird ridiculous thread I came into contact with. Well, my dear friends, I'm happy to announce we are giving it another try.Yup! I guess this time the [b]fourth[/b] time is the charm! [i][b]TechnoMagi: Stargaze Horizons[/b][/i] is coming back!!

We didn't get very far last time, hardly even reaching the prologue of this story. There was so much left to know, to find to explore! I really want this to work s I'm pulling all I can do to make this a success...

[align=center][size=large][b]~THE SETTING~[/b][/align]

This is a universe of magic and fantasy mixed with the technology to cross the stars. In here everything and everyone posses what's know as Magi (Magia and Magic also common names.), a mystical essence from a plane beyond that is part of everyone and everything.

This Magi not only has acted as our lifesource, but also has been mined, extracted and utilized by different races to kickstart them into the new era; Granting them advances Magitechnology, as well as the key to interstellar travel. Machines known as TechnoMagi Reactors have been utilized to convert the essence of Magi into powerful energy usable for a multitude of things, while much smaller but diverse Magicores, can utilize the power of crystals to be used on weaponry, armor and many other useful devices.

Usually, the use of Magitech is the only way in which one can utilize the Magi, but there is a rare group of individuals that are born with a much higher sensibility to it, allowing them to harness it as magic of their own. These people are usually referred as Grimoires.

However, as a multitude of races discovered how to interact with eachother across the cosmos, something didn't went as one'd expect. Long ago a master of a unknown dark magic, managed to convince some Grimoire to claim the galaxy as theirs, in what was known as the Dark Artes War.

A group of brave heroes and soldiers, allied with Grimories who continued to follow the path of justice, put a stop to this nefarious army, making these shadowly artes be lost in history. It was then when the organization known as ICARUS was founded.

Know as the Intersetllar Coalition for Arrest, Restribution and Unified Security became much more than a simple defense group, but rather one to found massive advances in technology, culture and many other aspects of society.

Their most recent achievement was the Omega Magia Station Project: A massive space station capable to tear a hole into the fabric of the universe to extract magia from the unlimited source of Caldera, the wellspring of magic. This allowed for a lap in progress previously un-imagined. While this focus on technology seemed to move the spotlight over the path of the Grimories, ICARUS still had an eyed for special individuals in order t prep them up from young so they could use their abilities for the good of galactic-kind.

While the first omega magia station turned out a complete success, the second attempt was a catastrophic disaster that caused a massive spill of magic energy; Making a big part of a galactic sector inhabitable for some time.

Time has passed, and as galactic forces have started to progress in cleaning up the damage, life has continued as usual...
