- Out of control, the Dalek fell to the ground. It skidded across the jungle clearing, and came to rest on its side at the edge of the wide hole left by the drill. For a moment it teetered on the brink, then it toppled over, falling into the deep, dark depths below with an electronic cry.
- The main control room of the Dalek Saucer was filled with Daleks. They glided from task to task, checking, adjusting and reporting. A huge scanner screen showed a replay of what the Dalek Attack Squad Leader had seen before it fell into the drill hole.
