✧ ヤンヤン YAN YAN :: from his fans because he loves those snacks. on his groups tv show he was always eating those snacks and they took notice. they are his go to snack and always has them with him. he is always eating food but these are his favorite food. at first he personally didn't like this name but since its from his fans he grew to like it. now he is always getting yan yan snacks shipped to him and he loves it.
 ✧ トリプルX TRIPLE X :: from his company since he is talented. while training they began to notice he is really good at dancing, rapping, and visuals. since he is very good at those three they named him triple x. this is his personal favorite nickname and all the people at his company call him this now.
 ✧ テリヤキ王子 TERIYAKI PRINCE:: from his band members since he makes the best teriyaki noodles. he got the recipe from his mother which has been passed down for years. kenta isn't the best at making korean food, but when it comes to japanese foods he is the guy you go to.
✧ ケンタシ KENTASI :: from other idols since they just came up with it and thought it fit him for some reason. since he does go by kenta they just started playing with his name and it just happened. it happened on a tv show when another idol randomly called him that during a nick name segment. it stuck and now everyone calls him that, even his own fans and band members

kenta has very distinct features. first, he has sun kissed skin instead of the usual pale skin and a straight pointy nose. he naturally has shiny black hair but dyes it occasionally for comebacks. he also has both ears pierced and wants a tattoo eventually if his company would allow him to do so. kenta thinks his best attribute is his abs even though he is famous for his broad shoulders and deep voice that makes the girls go crazy. his style is casual but posh at the same time? he would wear denim jeans and a tee shirt, but then throw a long jacket over it to make it more fashionable. he wants to be casual but since he likes dressing best he throws something or adds something to it to make it look even better.

	✧ kenta is the awkwardest bean you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. even though kenta looks very intimidating, he is actually a little boy in a mans body. he is always bumping into walls and doing unnecessary aegyo. he is basically a meme, since he is somehow making fool out of himself without even noticing it. he has so many dumb blonde moments to even count and will break out in random japanese since he forgets he is in korea sometimes. speaking of korea, since he is a foreigner, he is super shy once you meet him. he only talks if he's being talked to and is easily flustered. if a female brushes up against him, he will blush and uncomfortable move over to the side. did i mention he laughs wayyyyy too hard at memes?
		also, you will get extreme second hand embarrassment by even standing next to him. you can ask him if he likes bunnies or kittens and his reply would be, "yes." even though its embarrasing he is super adorable. also, he always loves doing things for people, for example, the fans. he would often hold and kiss their hands, give them gifts, do aegyo, and stuff like that. he is a complete gentleman and a guy you would bring home to your parents. he is very sweet and loves helping others before himself.
			but don't let this trick you since he holds a very special talent inside. once he opens his mouth and starts rapping he turns into a whole different person. someone you'd be scared of actually. he is enthusiastic, charming and is good at almost anything he puts his mind to. he can make anyone laugh and is very friendly. despite his awkwardness he is gifted at making friends so once you get to know him, he is a very good conversationalist. he is always open to learn new things and is often easy-going and jolly in nature. he is a real charmer and has a good sense of humor. he is confident about his talents, but wont ever brag.

➤┆ BACKGROUND:
	✧ kenta was born on june 1st to a big family in kobe. he was born into a family with three older sisters, his parents, and a dog named pocky (due to his sisters pocky obsession).
 		✧ to say his childhood was a interesting one would be an understatement. growing up with three sisters and being the only boy would be tough. they want to go to the mall and take him with them since he is so adorable, but he'd rather stay at home and watch anime. or they would want to do his hair and makeup just to be silly, and he just wanted to go to sleep. his older sisters loved him so much, but they basically forced him to be a girl sometimes.
			✧ despite their differences, they had some things in common. like i said earlier they all loved him so much and wanted him to be like them, so they would often bring him to their dance recitals. thats when kenta fell in love with dancing. he started dancing when he was 6 and had a natural talent for it. his favorite dance was hip hop. his sisters helped him become a better dancer everyday and he couldn't be more grateful.
				✧ from there on he started taking interest in the arts. he learned how to play instruments and started singing even if he wasn't that good at it. one day his sisters took him to a idol group concert that was in japan. he honestly didn't want to go, but when a rapper came out on stage and started performing that's when his life really changed. he wanted to be on stage like that instead of staying in the audience. he wanted a crowd of fans to chant his name and to stand on stage with all of his closest friends. instead of going to singing lessons he practice rapping at home instead and got really good at it.
	✧ he went on many japanese talent shows and started making a name for himself. but one day while walking down the street he saw a poster that said that big hit entertainment were holding auditions. he thought nothing of it but then right when he got home he researched what big hit was. he realized it was a korean entertainment company and got very excited. he thought back to when he saw that rapper on stage and decided to audition. he made it into the company and they decided to fly him all the way out to korea to begin his training. he was super excited but sad about how he'd have to leave his family. but he then left japan and went to korea and after a year of training he debuted with his group.

his style is very powerful. he likes his choreography hard and fast and when it has a lot of formations. his moves are very clean and sharp and he makes sure he hits each beat hard and somehow makes it look easy. during a performance he also likes to wink and bite his lip to the fans, not to mention he also flashes his cheeky little smirk and smile. did i mention he is the king of body rolls? when it comes to his rap part he is super cool and relaxed about it. he doesnt have to try hard since his natural "swag" comes out. even though he is super cool on stage he is also the hype man. he always saying "aye!" and asks the crowd to sing along, clap their hands, or put their hands up.


➤┆ HOW THEY ACT ON CAMERA:
his skills are improving a lot. at first he was shy but now he is one of the best talkers in his group. when variety shows ask them to do something stupid he'll do it and take it to a whole different level. for example, they ask him to cook some meat, he will start flipping it then it will fall on the floor. he will then proceeded to clean the floor with his bare hands and give a thumbs up afterward. his awkwardness is basically his best charm. he is always talking about the fans, doing unnecessary aegyo, and overexagerating his reactions. but he is not the king of variety yet since he is still lacking in his korean and is still a bit shy but he's getting there. and for fan service he shows off his abs and his broad shoulders, giving fans hugs, kisses, piggy back rides, singing stuff, selcas, ect. he's the whole package man.

he is most passionate about music. he is so passionate about it since he loves how he can express himself through it by dancing. he also loves how you can write, compose, and produce music any way you want and it still turns out beautiful.

➤┆ WHY ARE THEY CONTINUING TO PURSUE AN IDOL CAREER, DESPITE SEEING LITTLE SUCCESS IN THE PAST?
first, he wants to make his family proud - especially his sisters. his family spent so much time and money on him that he feels as though he has let them down by his group not succeeding. also, he wants to show foreigners like himself that they can make it in the kpop entertainment industry. in japan there aren't many opportunities to be in a pop boyband so he wants to show them that if their dream is coming here they can do it despite their race.
