- 1 - I’m ngl writing really egregiously in dialog and introspection is my guilty pleasure. I enjoyed writing Sandra for her way of speaking bc of this but Julian’s fucking weird and rambling and I’ve gotten an even bigger kick out of walking circles around every point I try to make and I’m sorry.
- I’m actually gonna roll 2 into this request I just want to answer this one because this is also the character I’ve had the most grievances writing...... MAINLY, god, I am not a fan of writing out noises in dialog but he’s... very much written like that. Transcribing jeff goldblum hrms and honks has been the true bane of my existence and you all have to put up with them
- Also like... in regards to his rambling way of talking, he’s really just making noise for the sake of making noise most of the time and a good half of his dialog is throwaway.
- I feel bad for people that try to take all of it into account... blanket statement he’s used to being ignored a good 75% of the time.
- Also in general I like a good angsty character but he will just vomit Woe Is Mes unprovoked sometimes and it makes me feel self conscious. That’s just... who he is as a person.
- 3 - god uhh, he’s reasonably early canon and I play him from a nebulous Route so he’s not romantically attached, but I mostly keep a lot of his first encounter in mind, a lot of his stupid ace attorney self-prosecution, and definitely a lot of the bonus trinket scenes, because they involve a lot of character interaction with good friends that you don’t get to see as much of in canon besides toward main character.
- 42 - this is my favorite question, I’m sure his parents were fine and dandy but he lost them relatively young, so all his significant parental figures have been unrelated! It’s my favorite question bc he and his sister were raised by a gaggle of fantasy-eastern european grandmothers, and essentially had two lady pirate godmothers. mazelinka and lilinka rescued them from being shipwrecked on a beach and brought them to the next port town where they were dumped on the grandmothers. then they came to visit whenever they were passing by and taught them cool boat stuff and how to swordfight and stuff. mazelinka continues to be extremely motherly to him even if it’s tough love, she houses him half the time in vesuvia and lets him sleep under the floorboards when he’s wanted for murder... I love them
- 43 - this is my least favorite question. Not a dependent like a child, ever, but he was responsible for an apprentice once......... when they were all researching a cure for the plague. Guess who got super caught up his work and neglectful and didn’t realize how sick the apprentice was until it was too late. this guyyyyy. he doesn’t remember this at my canon point but (‘: ...
