- 'Sup, doods!
- I'm still reeling from what happened in the tournament finals. I don't want to talk about it. It's simply a byproduct of the bed I made to make the tournament possible. Pray I never have to do that again.
- Anywell, I was admittedly stalling for time while I put the tournament on. Now that the tournament is done, I can get serious about doing the things that are weighing on my mind. I will elaborate further at the end of the week, but I don't think I can stream and work on this stuff at the same time. Friday nights are a valuable block of time for my free time. It's telling that I prefer that slot above all others outside of weekends for doing any sort of stream. Speaking of which, I'm going to do a Saturday stream for the first time in weeks—or was it months? After all, I still have an itch to do PPL runs and intend to fully scratch it to free up my mind.
- Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:
- Goal #4: edit my personal best runs. My own projects were really low priority compared to the tournament. After this weekend, I think I'll be in the mindset to finally get to this.
- Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts left to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. This is the big thing I hope to get done before the next tournament.
- Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.
- Goal #7: maybe make a universal LPS broadcast layout. I have a base, but perhaps I should stylize one for the LPS brand. Let's just say I have plans. Hopefully I wouldn't over-homogenize it like SpeedGaming did.
- Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.
- This week's schedule:
- (All broadcasts begin at 7pm CT unless otherwise stated)
- Friday – Friday Night Salt Mines (community speedrun races) – I Need a Grind to Unwind, Doods!
- Saturday @ 3pm CT – One Last Grind Before My Big Break, Doods!
- That’s my life story for the week. Later, doods!
