- Samurai: The Samurai is a fierce warrior dedicated to a special code of honor. While they stem mainly towards damage, they have a few additional abilities that help them resolve against detrimental effects.
- H=Honor skill (costs one honor to activate)
- Level 1
- Challenge(CD: 6): The samurai may declare a target within sight to challenge. During this time, the challenged target takes additional damage from the samurai's attacks; this damage modifier scales with the samurai's level. Killing the challenged target refreshes the cooldown and grants them a stack of honor. Honor is used for a variety of different skills.
- Challenged targets take up the samurai's concentration; The samurai suffers a -4 penalty against all targets that aren't his challenge, and attacking targets besides the challenged one breaks the challenge.
- (H) Determination: The Samurai cleanses themselves of fear or mind-altering effects.
- Level 2
- Valor Stance: The samurai assumes an offensive stance, granting them a +4 bonus to their attacks, but suffering a -4 penalty against them.
- Bulwark Stance: The samurai takes on the defensive stance, granting them a +4 bonus to defending, but suffering a -4 penalty attacking.
- During a stance, the samurai cannot move, and only takes actions against enemies nearby/within their reach.
- Level 3:
- Iaijutsu(CD: 4): The Samurai may make a quick dash towards the target, *unsheathing their katana* and striking at the target. The attack's critical range is enhanced to 15-20, and their foe is treated as flat footed. (They lose their attack modifier.)
- (H)Butterfly Strikes: The Samurai strikes fiercer and faster than most warriors; they gain momentum as they strike their foes. After a successful attack, they may attack twice in the next round.
- Level 4
- (H) Blade Barrier: After successfully blocking an attack, the Samurai may immediately follow up with a counter attack. Succeeding the counter attack deals less damage, but has a high chance of disarming the target. Critical strikes destroy the target's weapon.
- Level 5
- Warrior's Resolve: Samurai gain a 20% bonus to their death resist. Additionally, when the Samurai would die, they have the option to resolve.
- (H) Resolve: Allows the samurai to live for three additional rounds. During this time, the Samurai is capable of withstanding most blows from additional sources. At the end of three rounds, they begin to succumb to their injuries and pass out. They also have the option to end their life in Seppuku, granting their surviving allies a +2 bonus for the rest of the fight.
