Contents of Posts
1) Do not publicly post negative, provoking, embarrassing, or confidential information concerning other community members.

2) Do not �fuel� or continue arguments or disagreements in threads which are not meant for open debate.

3) Do not use excessive or inappropriate profanity. It is acknowledged that self expression is key, however, this must be kept to a minimum. We ask that use of profanity be limited to the Blow Horn and Artful Contrivance forums. And in those cases they should only be used for personal expression in a way that is not excessive or offensive. Any profanity against anyone within this community, the community itself, or in a casual manor (out side the two forums listed above) is indisputable grounds for an infraction. Please find a non-offensive alternative for such expression outside of those forums. Please use good and tasteful judgment and things should be OK. When in doubt, PM a Moderator or Administrator.

4) Do not make unhelpful, unsupportive, or undesirable replies to topics which are from those seeking help or assistance with an issue. Replies should not even approach being considered offensive or demeaning in any way. This also includes �useless� or �pointless� replies which clearly serve no value to the original post or otherwise.

General Rules
5) No solicitation of any services, products and/or other websites are allowed anywhere on the forum. This includes signatures also. Do not include links to services, products and/or web sites which you are promoting in anyway. Only agreed advertisements on the main pages of the site are allowed, to arrange this please contact the website administrator.

6) Personal intimate relationships with other community members are highly discouraged. Any which exist should be kept out of the community light. I.E., Do not advertise your relationships.

7) Public posting of private contact information in the forums such as phone number, home address and possibly email address is not allowed. If you feel you want to take the risky step in sharing your personal information with other members, do it via PM.

8) Do not make publicly criticizing posts of Teen Moods. Doing so is indisputable grounds for an infraction. If you have an issue with how the community is being ran in any way, please contact me, Paprika, first. If I feel there needs to be a public community discussion on an issue, I will create the topic -- not you.

Privacy
9) Privacy on the internet and here at Teen Moods in particular is very important. However, privacy begins with YOU. Please be aware once you share any information with someone else or in any publicly accessible place (such as some forums here at TM), you no longer control the flow of that information. So please carefully consider what personal information you are about to post in the forum or send to another person. You never know who is reading your posts so sometimes it may be best to change names, locations, etc. and other such details.

8) Privacy in PMs are only guaranteed between you and the correspondent. No one else can read your PMs but there is no guarantee that the other person will respect your privacy and not share information from your PMs with anyone else.

9) Do not take information outside of PMs or the Topic Floor unless you have (1) Explicit written permission to do so or (2) Someone is in danger. Doing otherwise is indisputable grounds for an infraction (most likely resulting in a ban).

If you cannot remember these rules then print them out or write them down and then place them in a clear location near your monitor.
