[FFXIV] Backup of Reddit Post about my WoL/characters.

My WoL is a Fairy Boy. About 4 ilms / inches at maximum size. They are made purely of Fae Energy, bound together by a "Soul Signature," of a sort. When they perish, they can eventually revive themselves after a while at an attunement point or in a random location within 100 Kilometers of where they died. They keep their size/fae stockpile from before they perished once they fully recollect themselves.

However, they radiate fae energy ambiently. As they lose fae energy, they will shrink down very, very subtly/slowly. Eventually becoming the size of a single gnat, and losing the ability to use most of their magic/etc. or their magic they can use scales down severely. (They can replenish fae energy by eating.)

They can use "Exchange" magic to change objects (or living things) (and/or parts of) into other objects on a fundamental level, right down to their very configuration of molecules. However, a person's "soul" is remained untouched in this Exchange, and they will still be conscious as the object they turn into. The Fairy Boy can also turn themselves into objects/etc. The Fairy Boy has actually sacrificed himself to save others on the verge of starvation in this manner, or to make valuable items using only his own fae energy to help fund a poor person's life/etc.

His backstory is that he was summoned here by someone attempting to be an arcanist; accidentally using a system similar to voidgates/etc. and pulling him from another world/plane of existence. He hopes one day to see all the world has to offer, and perhaps other worlds.

Out of all my characters for Hydaelyn/etc. He's the only one canonically capable of traveling between the shards. My "Akatsuki" Sisters are actually all automatons, and thus cannot make the passage to and from other shards. While these sisters are not WoLs, and cannot posses the echo, they are immune to tempering due to them being automatons.

A few others, more fleshy than these Akatsuki Sisters, are Lucradia Valeri, a previously Elezen woman who was experimenting with genes and alchemy, who ended up making herself into a Viera by accident. She's always trying to find ways to make it so she can have a child, she is completely infertile. Another is Saeko Meina, an Au Ra Raen girl, kind, caring, motherly, she prefers to heal others. Unlike other Au Ra females, she is actually as tall as a highlander female. Both do not posses the echo.
