Some notes on Fire Emblem Warriors from what I saw and posting my thoughts below
-Pair up system
-Level ups and stats
-Ability to give your allies commands and tell them where to move/attack.
-Equipment system
-Can swap to different units on the fly
-Arena mode reference to past Fire Emblem games
-Calvary(and I assume Pegasus Knights) will not dismount like other Warriors games
-Chrom and Tiki amiibo

Soooooo overall, It's a Warriors game, to me it looks pretty cool adding in some mechanics from other Fire Emblem games, Weapon Triangle is present, Levels are present, inventory/equipment system is present and pair up is also present. Weapon Triangle seems to work the same as it does in previous Fire Emblem games(really hard to say when I only saw Sword/Axe users if they're using Fates Weapon Triangle or wat), Levels and Class titles are a thing so I can only assume promotions will be a thing as well, I saw an inventory on the pause screen so it looks like you'll be able to have healing items and other weapons(so I assume Xander will be able to use Lances and Chrom as well once promoted to Great Lord), The pair up system makes it's return in this game and honestly I'm liking it more in this game than FE13/14 it just makes more sense to me. There is a bond meter when you pair up which will unlock support conversations. Also once you're paired up your paired up partner can block attacks, assist you with attacking and combo their specials with yours so pretty neat. On the pause menu you are able to command your allies to attack certain parts of the map which seems really nice, one of my biggest issues with Hyrule Warriors was needing to be in two places at once but swapping sometimes didn't help because my ally wasn't where I needed to be. Arena makes it's return in this game, you pick a map and fight against 6 Lords, I assume this will be just extra content for leveling characters/testing them out. It was said that Calvary and Pegasus Knight will stay mounted unlike other Warriors games, not much to say on this just looks goofy and awkward but I'll deal.

TL;DR game looks pretty neat, It's a Warriors game of course but they are trying to make it appeal to Fire Emblem fans on a mechanical level. I'm personally excited and can't wait to get my hands on this game.
