  4. |Deprivation of Happiness|
  5. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  6.
  7. >You spin on the balls of your feet to face her
  8. >She stands there, head held high above you
  9. "You did this!"
  10. >"Correct, my love~"
  11. >She's delighted that you've acknowledge her actions of love
  12. "Why? I lost my job, my house, I don't have anything now!"
  13. >You raise your voice, something you've haven't done your entire stay here in Equestria
  14. >Between the day's stress and annoyances, you haven't been angry with anyone
  15. >But this was the exception
  16. >She giggles to herself
  17. >"That's right Anonymous. You have nothing. Which means there is nothing to distract you from my love!"
  18. >You recoil
  19. >That's what this is about
  20. >But you'll be damned if you give in to her ludicracy
  21. "How is taking everything from me 'love'?! You're insane you silly ol' horse!"
  22. >She does nothing but take pleasure in your attention
  23. >"Oh look at us, arguing like an old married couple."
  24. >She says gleefully
  25. >It just makes you writhe in anger though
  26. >"My plan is brilliant, my dear. Slowly, I will take everything from you. Everything you possess, and everyone you love. I will take them all from you. And slowly, you will break and succumb to my love!"
  27. >She laughs triumphantly
  28. >It's apparent that Sun Horse has gone absolutely crazy
  29. >Her laughter dies and she focuses her gaze on you
  30. >"Come dear, your new life awaits with me~"
  31. >She motions towards the palace with her wing
  32. "I'm not going anywhere with you!"
  33. >You walk past her and you can swear you can hear her heart snap
  34. >The distance grows between the two of you
  35. >"You can't run from my love Anonymous. Soon, I will be everything you want, and need."
  36. >She waves at you with her hoof before you exit her sight
  37. >"I love him."
  38.
  39. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  40.
  41. >A week has passed
  42. >You now live in a homeless shelter
  43. >It would be an understatement to say you weren't depressed about your current condition
  44. >You're trying your hardest to fall into routine to forget about everything that's happened
  45. >But you can't help but think she's watching
  46. >And right you are
  47. >You can feel her eyes digging into the back of your head from Canterlot's tallest spire
  48. >You can see clouds in the sky that display your name with hearts
  49. >And the abundance of flowers that come in the mail every few hours
  50. >You've made a few friends
  51. >One pony with broken legs
  52. >Another with an addiction to your hands
  53. >And another who reminds you of an English kid back home
  54. >This is your band of misfits
  55. >But after the third day of your stay, you were told they had been given homes by the government
  56. >Strange
  57. >You now stand in the cafeteria washing dishes
  58. >You take on more chores than you need to around the establishment
  59. >Though you're more than happy to
  60. >The small talk and idle chit chat you have with other ponies is enough to ease your pain
  61. >Suddenly a large clamor begins to rise in the outside
  62. >Finishing the rest of your dishes, you join the growing crowed outside of the shelter
  63. >It's her
  64. >"Good morning my faithful subjects."
  65. >She gives a warm, motherly smile
  66. >A smile that sends a chill down your spine
  67. >She scans the crowd for your face
  68. >Which she immediately finds as you try to avoid her
  69. >The supervisor sheepishly bows to the Princess and inquires her visit to his humble shelter
  70. >"I have come to give you all homes and a new life!"
  71. >Immediately the crowd bursts with praise for the Sun
  72. >"Come with me my subjects, we have a long day of house shopping ahead of us."
  73. >Everyone rushes past you to her side and they embark on their new lives
  74. >Leaving you alone
  75. >She looks over her shoulders back at you
  76. >Smiling, as if to say "You can not escape my love."
  77.
  78. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  79.
  80. >Three days have passed
  81. >The shelter is now empty other than the supervisor and yourself
  82. >You're informed that the shelter is closing down due to no one being homeless
  83. >Except you
  84. >Due to your address being burned into the ground, you never received your severance check
  85. >You now roam the streets of Canterlot
  86. >A dirty hobo
  87. >No money or possessions other than the clothes on your back
  88. >You lay on a park bench, your bed for a couple of nights
  89. >The night is cold and you close in on yourself for warmth
  90. >It helps, though only a little
  91. >You are moments away from sleep until you feel a foreign warmth against your back
  92. >Instant realization hits you, but before you can act you faint into darkness
