[11:04] It was rather embarrassing to have gotten lost in Nysea's cave, even more so that the rats he chose to ignore would turn on him. Individually, they were nothing- though being limited to striking with his hands and feet, it was quite overwhelming for the pugilist on his own.

Taking off his shirt, shoes, and trousers, Revan would begin by removing his bandages-hesitating as he held his finger under the wrapping. He would lean over, hearing that Fenes was brewing potions. A deep breath in, followed by a sight, he would begin removing the cloth.

Many holes were left in them from the rodent's sharp teeth, blood seeping into the rags. Salvaging what he could, he would cut and trash anything he deemed unusuable. What was fine, would be placed in a bowl of water to soak.

It was a long process, unwrapping from head to toe, something he wasn't entirely comfortable doing in the Guildhall- but Fenes was more than correct by saying it was good practice.. And he was relatively eager to use the ward.

Step one.. Patient comfort.. Irrelevant in this case.

He would endure any pain he would inflict on himself, just as he watched his father stand tall while having his own heart operated on.

Step two.. Assess the injuries..

There were many little lacerations, and a few punctures woulds.. Nothing too complex, he was used to nicks and cuts, but for a few of the more severe cuts, he would decide to practice his suturing.

Step three.. Sanitize.

Going through a cabinet, he would find some alcohol and a cloth, soaking it thoroughly, he would begin applying it across his entire body. Gritting his teeth as he hissed with it's initial contact, he would eventually grow accustomed to the burning sensation that would soon envelope his body.

He would debate if he should bandage the small cuts first, or begin with the suturing. After giving it some thought, he would proceed with the stitching first. Reaching for a nearby needly, he was thankful that Fenes had been so thorough in stocking up the ward.

Copying the technique he saw Scarlett use to close his father up, he would puncture into the skin layer- hitting muscle tissue at first, wincing through the pain, he would back it out and try again. Watching someone close a wound was much different than doing it yourself- however, it provided a valuable learning experience. He would eventually get the hang of the angle you had to enter in, how deep to go, and how far from the gash to start the stitch without bunching the skin, or breaking it.

It would be a long process, as he had witness, taking even longer as he had to learn as he went. Fenes would eventually come in as he was halfway through, he would look at her, an expression akin to that of a deer peering at a hunter. There were many scars across his entire, toned, torso, bruises coloring his paled skin in blues and purples.

He had shown only an arm to Astrid, Hans, Fingar, and Lilith, and act that he was already cautious to do- but here he would be completely exposed. Quickly turning his gaze back to his work, he'd simply mutter softly.

"I'm.. Sorry you have to see this."

[11:16] Fenes had taken whatever resources Revan had brought with him, putting everything away in the various chests in the guild halls- ores and plants, mushrooms and other things. Most of this stuff would be useful either for her or for someone else in the guild.
She heard a few things move around in the small medical ward She had prepared for Revan- he mentioned wanting to be a medic after all, so she had to arrange some kind of space for him at least. The little room in the back, up the stairs was perfect for such a thing. Two beds, a cabinet stocked full of what seemed like decent medical equipment, a washbasin to clean up anything he might need... Hopefully Fenes had put enough around.

She had finished stocking up the chests, letting out a rather long sigh- brewing whatever potion she could rather quickly, taking a few minutes to let the mix brew, watching over it while casting glances towards the medical ward. Two potions of a certain nature... potions she might keep on herself for quite a bit, actually. It would be used for pranks or to give to someone that wanted to feel.. different. Very different.

SHe had walked up towards the medical ward while Revan was stitching up his wounds, She winced a bit at the sight, stepping to the side and not saying anything as to not break his focus- he was learning after all.. But her Jade eyes wandered over Revan's body, seeing multiple scars, bruises, everywhere.. absolutely everywhere. Was this the reason he was completely bandaged up? To not show.. these?

The Ookami's ears lowered a bit, as she gave a sad smile towards him.
"D-Don't worry, it's fine...Focus on your current wounds now... You sure you don't want me to go make some Lax essence real quick..? I know you have to learn a bit about this to be a real medic, b-but.. It might soothe the pain, wouldn't it...?"
(Fenes)

[11:19] Fingar says, "Uhh... should we remain outside or..."
[11:22] Fenes says, "He's.. fixing himself up."
[11:22] Fingar asks, "Do you think my choice of vanity is all ight as it is or should I switch to some more lively colors?"
[11:25] There would be a pause as he felt those Jade eyes wander, or perhaps it was his imagination. He couldn't blame her, he probably looked like some sort of monster.. Then again, the constant bandaging didn't help, earning him the name 'Mummy boy' in their guild.

With Fenes' offer to make him an anesthetic to ease his pain, he would shake his head. "No.. Pain is the best teacher." He would say curtly, before plunging the needle back into his dermal layer.

".. This.. Shows me how to be more.. Delicate... I was told a patient's comfort is important for recovery.. Besides.. I am no stranger to pain.. As you can see.."

It was that time he would hear the Guild Hall's door open, and he would flinch, stabbing himself deeper than intended. Hissing again, he would close his eyes and try to find his center.

Pain is an illusion. It is just an alert. I'm aware of this, and don't need it.

A small mantra he would tell himself until the pain subsisted. "You can stay- just don't come back here." He would say, slowly finishing up the last of his cuts as he would begin apply gauze to each cut, and wrapping them twice over before beginning the process of re-wrapping his entire body.

[11:28] Hans Hohenstein says, "Huh"
[11:33] Fingar asks, "Is this the first time he got out of his bandages or a regular routine?"
[11:33] Fingar says, "Just... asking."
[11:34] The Ookami gave a small frown when hearing Revan's answer- but she'd respect it, giving a small nod keeping a small smile on her face. What kind of pain did Revan already go through, to be scared this much, so young.
"Okay Rev... if it makes you learn, I won't force you to take lax essence.. but remember it could be useful to treat patients in the future, you know...?"

Her ears perked up when hearing the guild door open, her head turning- apparently that had surprised Rev as he seemed to have drawn more blood while trying to close up some of the deeper, wider wounds on him. Hearing Revan, Fenes blinked- he really didn't want people to see his body like this, then. She nodded, it would feel uncomfortable for him then...She stood at the entrance of the medical ward in silence, standing by Revan as he started to bandage his body back up- his whole body, hiding all of his body, to not let her see those scars and spots everywhere. Her ears lowered a bit, it was a sad view, but at least he'd be happy while spending time with the other guild members.
" You... must have suffered so much Revan.. I'm so sorry...", she mumbled, hanging her head a bit down, before giving him a smile. It was better to not think on it too long- those seemed to be old scars, which was worrying due to his age, but he surely wouldn't talk about it.
"Um.. You got a bit more experience on threating wounds like that now."
(Fenes)

[11:34] Fenes says, "...It's the first I've seen him without the bandages, yes.. and he seems uncomfortable enough so please don't come back here..."
[11:35] Fingar says, "I won't bother you two. Me and hans had just came back from expedition to sea caves."

[11:57] He would nod, appreciative that Fenes would respect his wished, as well as acknowledging her suggestions. "I will.. Keep it in mind.. When I'm working on others.. Yes.." She was just trying to help, but for some reason Revan found it difficult to accept it, even if they were guildmates. He felt comfortable around them, but something about him did not want to be a burden to others.

Glancing over his shoulder, he would see that the Ookami would stand in the doorway, blocking the others from witnessing him in his current state- he would find himself with deep gratitude.. What would he have done if he didn't trust her to the extent he did? Would he have lashed out at her for laying those Jade eyes on him, or would he have dismissed his injuries and covered up, choosing to continue hiding?

Reapplying the bandages was something he had a lot of practice at, taking half the time anyone would normally take. As he would pull his pants up and put onhis vest, he would look at her as she mumbled.

".. We all have scars.. Fenes.. Mine are simply on display for the world to see.. To judge.. This is.. Something I have lived with.."

The look in his eyes growing soft as he would step forward, placing a hand on his shoulder- it was an act he did not use lightly, physical touch that wasn't violent, but kind.

"I.. Have seen the scars you carry as well.. I do not know specifics.. Simply that they are there.. And I.. If you ever.. Need someone to talk to.. I am here for you."

He would whisper back to her, not wanting to alert any other who where in the hall. He tried to hide his injuries, he had his own trauma that he had to deal with, so he knew that others would most likely not appreciate theirs being exposed.

He would step out of the ward, speaking louder for all those present to hear. "I don't wish for you to see me scars and feel sorrow, or pitty for me. Every one of them is a lesson, a testament that I survived, I have grown, I am growing. They are a result of me pushing myself to grow stronger, and that is something I never want you to feel bad for."
