Funnily enough, Jaune had gotten used to the idea that every other Jaune was different. Grimm had been overwhelming numbers, Ashari overwhelming skill and Knight was overwhelming strength and speed. It stood to reason then that Magnis would have his own niche and the original Jaune, who had been feeling less and less so in the recent days, was cautious about finding out what it was.

He's not as brute force as Knight and I don't think he's as skilled as Ashari was, he thought. The moves were quick and devastating, but Ashari had moved with a precision that felt much more one-sided. He's a mix of both. Strong, fast and skilled enough. Is that his niche? An all-rounder?
