- The IP is non refundable period - regardless of what you think - you cannot close ports with active running services, otherwise, no one can connect to that port, what doesn't make any sense about that? there are many types of software where you can change the port to something else, it could be a torrent client? it could be plex it could be thousands of different software.

- Hi.
- There is no technical issue on our side, your claims are not correct, ports are open toward vpn server not you so there is no security concern for you as no traffic is reaching you, I am afraid am not seeing any point here. You had to agree on TOS to proceed with placing order, and per TOS dedicated IPs are non-refundable with no exception full, if you not happy with this kindly feel free to reach out to Sales admin on admin@torguard.net

About refund, its technical problem on your side I dont want to lose money because you can’t change open ports on your vpn. So if you are not ready to make a full refund I will ahve to type negative feedback on your topics

- Yes they are detecting that ports are open to vpn server not to you, even if you are not connected on IP, it will still see those ports open on IP as ports are not open towards you but server level itself for vpn service to work, how do you think you can connect using vpn, cause there is vpn service on server listening on those ports for you to connect, there is no other way to illustrate it am afraid so if you are convinced or still insists those ports open to your PC then i guess you can request a refund but kindly note per TOS dedicated IP is non-refundable, only vpn portion of 4.99$ is refundable, confirm to proceed.

- Hi. Kindly note ports are open toward vpn server only, not to your PC, vpn service on server is listening on those ports to establish vpn connection, nothing is sent toward you.

- This doesn't happen due to ports - this happen as you are using SHARED IP's that everyone else is using.

- I very much doubt they use ports to determine that you use a VPN, these ports could be open for different purposes so it makes no sense and would be highly inaccurate.
