  1. "Hallo!" Called the bright eyed purple yordle from behind Veigar, grumbling in response he turned to face her. "Yes yes, hello Lulu, what is it you want from me?" "I waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanted to spend some time with you! We could have lotsa fun, and Pix knows some fun places an.." Lulu continued, unfazed as Veigar tuned her out, concentrating especially on the dark and devious deeds he had planned, surely he could find a reason to leave her be and then he woul- "What is this, what is this get it off!" Veigar commanded, his attention finally back on the girl as she placed a bright flowery lei onto him, with a matching flower crown. "I am a master of all that is dark and evil, there is no place for flowers for the dark evil master!" he cried, grumpily, tossing the trinkets aside.
  2. Veigar had not calculated the effect the girl's tears would have on him, however, and spent the next ten minutes trying to silence her, to cheer her up, as she cried louder than he could bear. The incessant noise finally stopped when he picked up the flowers and placed them back on himself, staring at her unhappily as the tears vanished, replaced with her happy go lucky doting. "Ooooh it's so good on you, and my favorite is that purple one! I picked it special, you see, cause purple is the best one, and I wish I coul.." her voice trailed off again, as Veigar tried to concentrate. He didn't have it in him to wipe such a pure simpleton off the face of the planet, but he certainly didn't have time for this. He had dark and evil things to do.
  3. "Lulu" he said sharply, cutting off what was surely a long and lackadaisical story about some fluffy creature, "I have plans for today, but why don't you help me?" he asked, barely choking out the last part. The thought of enlisting this ball of fuzzy happiness appalled him, but it may be the only way for him to get a move on his agenda. More than happy at the notion of helping, Lulu exploded "YES! YES! YES! YES!" she shouted, while skipping and bouncing in circles around Veigar. It was infuriating, but he tried to keep his cool, "well then, I need you to procure some.. ingredients for me" Veigar said, gingerly. "Yes! Anything to help!" "I need you to collect something important, I need an Ominous Windhowler, it is an orb full of magic that is able to answer any question you could have." "Wininous Omdhowler, I got it!" Lulu replied happily, before speeding off. Just like that, she was gone, out of his hair for as long as she couldn't figure it out.
  4. Satisfied with his ploy, Veigar terrorized a few villages, ran amok across a few forests, whatever it was that called to the Yordle who had mastered dark and evil. It wasn't long before he forgot the purple girl entirely, the entire morning out of his mind as he went about his business. As the sun set, and he was on his way home he caught sight of her, standing in the path where they had split up.Breathing in deeply to fortify himself, he walked up to her "Did you manage to find it?" he asked curtly, knowing what her answer would be, "I.. I tried.. Lulu tried really really hard..." she said dejectedly, all of her pep somehow gone. "..Lulu couldn't find your Omdhowler, I'm sorry!" She cried out, a fresh stream of tears sliding down her cheeks, her eyes very obviously red. Without a thought, Veigar walked past her and said "I'm very disappointed, Lulu." walking away without any regard for the distraught yordle he was leaving behind.

  6. It wasn't until later that night he felt a twinge of guilt that pulled at his heartstrings. He had left her behind, after forcing her onto a quest she would never finish. It was doomed for the start, but thinking back, the rips on her clothes, the grime, her apology. She had really tried, for him. No one had ever done that, Veigar had no one, knew no one, and yet here was this girl who had given her everything to try and make herself useful to him. Try as he might to push it from his mind, it came back, louder and louder until finally he grabbed his hat and staff, and fled out the door. The sight he came upon was so devoid of happiness, even this master of evil was choked up. She had laid under a nearby tree from where he left her on the path, clutching her staff. She was still covered in grime, and where here tears had been earlier, were lines on her cheeks. Gently, Veigar shook her. Her eyes opened slowly, but as soon as she recognized Veigar she bit her lip, and choked back some tears. Shaking his head, Veigar removed her hat, and stroked her hair, soothingly. "I found the Omdhowler, Lulu, you don't need to worry anymore." he said gently, as she sniffled, "Wh-what did you ask it..?" she asked, quietly, looking Veigar straight in his eyes. "I asked it what I should be doing right now.." he began as he sat beside her and took her into his arms. "It told me, I should be with you."
