  1. Huge jump from Page 8 to 2 and then again to 8?
  2. My ranking got improving last week, and yesterday, two keywords on which I was on page 8 got jumped to 2 same as all are jumping. But one more thing happened yesterday that was, I got some errors on my hosting so My website got turned off for 1 day.

  14. And today, Everything is back again, but I noticed many keywords which jumped to page 1 or 2 some days ago, again jumped back to the 8th, 7th, 6th page of SERP.
  15. What is this, will It get back again?

  17. I once had an Amazon affiliate site ranking in the top 3 positions in the SERPS generating a nice amount each month but I forgot to renew the domain and the site was down for weeks without me realising since I kept it at the back of my mind.

  19. It lost rankings but I renewed the domain, bought a couple more links and it regained its position 2 months later.
  20. You will be back to original position if they were stable, try to fetch or re index site from search console.
  21. Add some nice backlinks, it seems your site needs some boost for rankings.

  28. please remember that google has multiple ranking indexes!! what you might have been seeing is the result of one index vs another.
  29. And maybe it's unrelated to the hosting problem and just the usual google dance.
  30. Be patient to see evolution before trying to correct the situation.

  32. Same happened to me as well. However, after researching I know there was an algo update, so maybe you will see some more changes to come over the coming months.
  33. It is a 'normal' google dance. Your website score is being re-calculated by the algorithm. This usually happens when your website gets new backlinks in a short period of time.

  36. Constant re-indexing site will make stable in the long run. Blame it on the algorithms as it re-assess your website score. Make sure you avoid errors so you will no longer need to turn off you website and encounter the same issue again. :)
