  6. Akorobolos Jimmuel, 67th Ile Enoomotia, Triclaw Legion, Beasts of Heaven
  7. -------------------------------------
  8.
  9. "Akrobolos!" The Ilarches, or the Wing Commander yelled with his head facing sideways as he called for the Angel behind him. He never bothered facing him because his preoccupied with the chaingun he was using. Jimmuel could hear the rattling sound of the Ilarches' weapon as he fires it; countless empty shells hit the ground, clanging like little pennies dropping on the floor; at the same time, countless Darkshot Legionnaires fell on the ground as well. "I need the ammo box three hours ago. Where is it?!"
  10.
  11. "Forgive me, sir." Jimmuel replied as he rushed towards the lion-faced winged Angel. On his left arm, he tucks the green ammo box that contains hundreds of ammos that were attached together as a belt. He knelt beside the Ilarches as he pulled the ammo belt and began feeding it at his chaingun. The Ilarches continued firing; incessant pounding noise drilled its way to his enhanced hearing. He hates the fact that the powers-that-be has never even bothered issuing them standard headgears like their Garrison counterparts. They do, however, share the same armor with them. For some reason, the Archangel who oversees the Beast Legions believed that they should proudly show their animalistic features to intimidate their enemies, which explains the absence of headgear.
  12.
  13. In terms of leaderships and ranking structures, the Beast Legions distanced themselves from the traditional heirarchy of the usual Angelic Legions where they were made up of Enoomotia that consists 500,000 Angels each, each were led by 10,000 Ilarches. The Wing Commanders can be distinguished from the Infantrymen by the color of their armors; the subordinates wearing their white armor, whereas the Wing Commanders were equipped with a bronze one that were trimmed in gold. Most Ilarches were lion-faced; it symbolizes the kingship of Jesus Christ.
  14.
  15. The Ilarches let out a loud roar as he shoots Demons after Demons; their chests bursts as the rounds made contacts, making their armors useless as if they were just wearing cardboards. The pavement of the streets were upheaved, empty shells and dead bodies were scattered throughout the road. The clockwork buildings around them were totally abandoned, but unlike the other cities where a battle had reportedly broke out, it only has minimal damages like an occasional bullet holes or broken window glasses. Flipped vehicles provides cover for the advancing Darkshot Legionnaires, firing a bullet or two at the Beast Angels. But luck is on their side as the sandbags that protected the Beast Angels caught all the bullets the enemy fired at them. Jimmuel pulled the spear from his back. He glanced at the Ilarches beside him and said, "Permission to engage, sir."
  16.
  17. "Permission denied. Stay right here." The Ilarches replied as the firing suddenly stopped.
  18.
  19. Far ahead, a trio of Darkshot Legionnaires in their crimson armors stepped out of a flipped perforated vehicle, waving a tattered piece of white rag. The Ilarches were not convinced and he still had his hands gripping the handle of the chaingun tightly, aiming at the damned enemies. The trio slowly made their way towards the two, their hands still hanging in the air.
  20.
  21. "We surrender!" One of the Demons yelled.
  22.
  23. "No! Stay back!" The Ilarches yelled as he aimed his chaingun at them; aim was shaking in frustration.
  24.
  25. "We surrender!"
  26.
  27. "I said stay back!"
  28.
  29. "We surrender!"
  30.
  31. "Stay back! Stay back!" Then he fired a couple of times, hitting one of them in the chest. Jimmuel stared at the Ilarches as if he had gone crazy. The enemies had already given up. They could interrogate them for useful information, and here he is, wasting precious opportunities to know the plans of the Demons.
  32.
  33. "Sir calm down, they--" An explosion suddenly racked them as Jimmuel watched the horrible demise of the Ilarches. A rocket was fired at the chest of the Wing Commander, blowing him into chunks of violent gore. Jimmuel froze at the sight as the lower half of the Ilarches fell to its knees, pelvis bleeding dry.
  34.
  35. Standing up, Jimmuel caught sight of numerous Darkshot Legionnaires surrounding him. He takes a step back, realizing there is no escape. The other Akrobolos with them were already killed in their advance earlier. This territory has already been conquered by the Demons and their Enoomotia were sent to reclaim it, but the defenses were proven too strong to be destroyed. Blessings were on their side as they managed to slip past the defenses and wreck havoc against the Darkshot Legionnaires even for a few hours. They were pinned down and destroyed, until the only Akrobolos Infantry remaining was Jimmuel himself, the Beast Angel who has the head of a Havanese out of all the animals available out there.
  36.
  37. "HAHAHA!" The Demons laughed at the sight. "It seems like the sole survivor of this unit was nothing but an Angel with a puppy's head!"
  38.
  39. "Let's cut him open!"
  40.
  41. "No, let's toss him in the heat sink!"
  42.
  43. "I got an idea! Let's roast him with Hellfire and eat his flesh! Who knows how many fallen graces we could get from him!"
  44.
  45. Jimmuel raised his spear. With a step forward, he muttered to himself, "Maintain Battlefield Formation, remain in the State of Grace." With a yell, he shouted, "Who's first?!"
  46.
  47. One by one, the Darkshot Legionnaires charged at him with huge bloodied cleavers in their hands. They were confident about their victory over the lone Akrobolos. As the nearest Demon drew to a close, Jimmuel made his first move. He thrusts the tip of his spear at the faceplate of the Demon, killing it instantly. He retrieved his spear with a pull as he sent kick at the corpse, dropping it to the ground. He strikes at the second and the third one, then slammed the fourth Demon with the staff of his spear. He jogged a little further as he impaled the fifth one, clearing the first group of Demons that surrounds him. The second ones were starting to close in. He cocks back and aimed the spear at the leader of the advancing team. It does not need any expert to know the difference between the subordinate and the superior from one another. He released the spear like a Javelineer would, hitting the leader directly at the chest. He broke out his long sword and strikes at the closest Demon. He already expected him to block his attack so he clenched his glowing fist and sent it slamming at the gut of the enemy, forcing the Demon to gag inside his headgear.
  48.
  49. "I think I just vomitted my own pancreas!" The Demon whispered as Jimmuel hacked its head off.
  50.
  51. He turned to the right as he blocked an attack. He launched a fist at its face followed by a left kick at its right knee, forcing it to kneel on the ground. With the enemy defenseless, Jimmuel wasted no time striking at its skull. He raised his left hand again and blasted the remaining Demons with glowing orbs. They exploded as the orbs made contact, leaving nothing but flesh and gore enmeshed with metal casing.
  52.
  53. "Damn it! He was stronger than we thought!" One of the Demons yelled as he began to draw his Ragefire Rifle from his back. "Riflemen, get your weapons at the ready! Fire at will, fire at will!"
  54.
  55. Jimmuel rolled to the left as the Legionnaires opened fire at him. Blessings had been on his side again as he spotted an unholy weapon identical to the ones used by the armed shooters. He grabs it and began firing at the Darkshot Legionnaires. His shots were perfect, all hitting the covered faces of his enemies. He raised his right hand, lifting another Ragefire Rifle telepathically. The weapon flew to his hand; he caught its grip in a perfect timing.
  56.
  57. "Now pray to whoever Gods you believe in!" Jimmuel yelled. "Not even them can save you from me." He sprinted forward as he fired his rifles at the Darkshot Legionnaires, killing as many as he could.
  58.
  59. He aimed his guns to the left and killed a trio of Demons. He aimed to the right and fired as well, taking down a duo of Demons. He continued his sprint; a quartet suddenly blocked his way. They were eager to kill the dual-wielding shooter before he kills them. Jimmuel's armor received bullets after bullets, slowing him to a halt as the impact broke the plates underneath his suit. He spits blood as he fired back. He continued his sprint despite of the damage being done to him. Three Demons fell, and the other, received a flying kick from Jimmuel, crushing its face.
  60.
  61. The Rocket Soldier who had killed his Ilarches blocked his path all of a sudden. His appearance were different from the other Legionnaires he have fought. Two sharp horns protrude out of his forehead; a huge green tactical bag can be seen on his back and in his hands was a big elongated weapon that he had used to kill the Wing Commander.
  62.
  63. "You are the one who killed my Superior!" Jimmuel accused as he aimed both rifles at the Rocket Soldier.
  64.
  65. "I was just acting on orders. Nothing personal, Angel."
  66.
  67. "Acting on orders? You were slaughtering tens of thousands of innocent people. You attacked a Planet that did not even do a single thing against all of you!"
  68.
  69. "We do not have a choice, Angel."
  70.
  71. "That is because you never used your Free Will!"
  72.
  73. "Does Free Will exist, Malakh?" The Demon asked as he loaded a rocket to his weapon. "Do you have a choice of defying your Father?"
  74.
  75. Jimmuel glared at him. Behind him were countless Demons that laid dead. He lowered his weapon before replying, "Yes we do. In fact your leader used that his own Free Will to act against us. I know where this is heading, Demon. Don't teach me anything about Morals because you don't have one."
  76.
  77. The Rocket Soldier grinned. The Angel was smart and he was not expecting it. His prediction about where the course of the conversation was heading has caught him off-guard.
  78.
  79. "You're right." The Demon replied, voice turning into a growl. "Actually, I wasn't on orders. Actually, I used my choice to slaughter, because it's what I want to DO!" He fired a rocket at Jimmuel, who jumped to the left; wings covering his body. He quickly stood up, pressing his back against the flipped car. He fired a few rounds at the enemies, hitting the Rocket Soldier twice on the chest before the Demon fired another rocket at him. Jimmuel rolled forward, evading another deadly shot. He fires back, hitting its faceplate twice, and once at its chest.
  80.
  81. "Enough of this!" Jimmuel yelled as he kicked off the ground and rushed at the Demon. He fired at the reloading Rocket Soldier, causing the Demon to lose balance. He also lost the grip of the rocket warhead he was holding, causing a massive explosion that engulfs the two.
