Absolutely epic tier:
Pink Lily
If you can't find good passion matches, use this with Stuffed Bear to get a decent amount of passion and start matching. Fantastic item that makes dates more consistent.
Suede Ankle Booties
Such an OP item, you definitely should put it in the build. If you don't have this in your build you can still do well but requires way better rng. If you have this in your build use it asap after first sentiment match.
Shiny Lipstick
Almost always a very good item, use this in a favorable 4-match with decent passion and you win. 5 matches with a power token are almost always instawin.
Stuffed Bear
You begin the game with this item, never remove it from your items ok


Very good:
Stuffed Cat
Definitely my favorite broken heart removal after bear because cheap and usually sets up some good shit.
Stuffed Penguin
Epic item which does 2 jobs at once, removing broken hearts and granting turns. Too bad it's really expensive so you better have that sentiment.
Nail Polish
Fun as hell item, can be used instead of Lipstick. Really high potential but can also be a bit useless with bad RNG.
Blue Orchid / Red Tulip / Orange Cosmos / White Pansy
Always useful items that clear the board and gain you tons of affection for the rather cheap cost. If you have a matching one with the girl, is extremely useful and even if not, still very strong.
Silver Ring
Very cheap and extremely efficient removal item, the only downside is the riskiness.
Sunflower
Second best turn item, gets you a nice amount of turns.
Leopard Print Pumps
Fun item, but way too expensive so I don't use it in a speedrun anymore. Very much worth it if you can pay the cost though, makes it almost impossible to fail if your board isn't terrible. Only useful with the Suede Ankle Booties.



Passable:
Eyelash Curler / Hair Brush
They seem like good items but in reality you should always replace them with some other removal if possible. Usually they break only like 5-6 affection tokens which is a pretty terrible gain, but can potentially also save your life at places because you can choose what to delete.
Gold Earrings
Too expensive, too little gain most of the time, just gets you a few extra turns. Is outclassed by the penguin and the sunflower.
Hoop Earrings
Same goes for this, use as a turn item if you absolutely must have one.
Heart Necklace
Only really useful in alpha mode or endgame of Hard mode.
Pearl Necklace
Yea same here, both necklaces belong in an Alpha Mode build.
Stuffed Whale
Outclassed by other broken heart removal items, not terrible on its own.
Peep Toe Heels
Not a bad item but I'm just not a fan, just a safety net pretty much, not worth the item slot.


Rather useless:
Compact Mirror
Never used this but if you are stuck with lots of bad affection matches you could try to do something with this...eh pretty shit.
Cork Wedge Sandals
You could use this to set up a sick combo with a removal item, but seems way too situational.
Pink Mary Janes
So much worse than Suede Ankle Booties lol.
Stuffed Monkey
Kinda irrel, can be useful for Alpha Mode but still not very good.

The perfumes
They're all pretty damn bad since it takes way too many turns for them to start being useful...I like to go fast
Lovely Ring
You need way too many power tokens for this to be useful and even then you should match them instead.
Vintage Platforms
Way too annoying to use, screw this item. Why does it cost 5? Uhhhh
