Pokemon Sun/Moon Starter Secondary Type Prediction

With the supposed leak (admittedly a little while ago) of the final evolution of the starters, I figure I'd just throw together a quick text of what I think the starter's final typing will be.

First off, if you remember from Gen VI, they did a double weakness circle. Not only did we have Grass/Water/Fire, but we also had Fighting/Dark/Psychic (respectively). I think this will continue in Gen VII.

Rowlett
His artwork depicted an archer. Thus I think his secondary typing will change from Flying (as it currently is) to Steel, making him a Grass/Steel type.

Popplio
His artwork seemed to depict a mermaid. Thus I think an appropriate new secondary typing would be Fairy, making him Water/Fairy.

Litten
His artwork depicted what appeared to be a wrestler. Due to the color scheme, Dark is certainly a possibility, but while it is weak to Fairy, it's not super effective on Steel. Thus I think we're going to be unfortunate and get yet another Fire/Fighting starter.


The three starters will have not only their Grass/Water/Fire weakness circle with this, but the secondary weakness circle of Steel/Fairy/Fighting.

We shall see what happens! ...when it all comes together, in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
