He heard Wernad turn back to face him, the sound of his boots on the ground.

There was a long pause. It seemed very quiet, suddenly, though Vhirrut understood it was an illusion brought by the stillness around them. Everyone,the pilgrims, Angbar Trel, Silvanie Phest, even Base, was focused on Chirrut and Wernad.
