Default [PL] Update about horde + looking for new mentors and helpers

    QUICK UPDATE


    First a straight to facts update for where we are at with Horde:

    2.5 months since the project started

    1450 nerds recruited

    over 10 000 ships killed for 800 bil worth of damage

    regular activity spread across all 3 TZs, for mondoping pens we have been getting 80-100 dudes regularly, for roams in the main tzs 30-50 dudes easy and at any time its easy to get between 5 to 10 dudes for an impromptu roam

    we have also had a big drive for bombers from the beginning, its the first t2 ship in our recommended skillplan - last weekend when we called for max bombers we could get 50 bombers in fleet




    How horde is structured:

    - we base in lowsec, ЅARANEN
    - Sаranеn is located right next to pure blind, next to waffles, next to faction warfare space
    - close (< 20 jumps) to fountain, geminate, deklein, syndicate and tama
    - the staging system has ships seeded for the basic doctrines
    - the basic doctrines are noob-skill compliant fits that any newbean can fly when completing the horde skillplan
    - additionally, any FC can call for his own doctrine and post the fit, we have a jump freighter service that members can use to haul ships directly from jita to saranen (thx waffles)


    Note to FCs:

    1. At least 50% of horde actually has the skillpoints and isk to fly t2 hulls, especially t2 frigs / t3 dessies. Ѕo the best fleets are those in which you can mix both t1 cruisers/frigs and t2 frigs.
    2. Beware of goons dropping supers on roaming gangs in deklein



    We moved horde from HED because it was cancer. It was devolving into the Brave-like situation of newbies waiting for fights to come to hed and never learning how to roam, hunt, solo or hotdrop. Ѕo we moved our staging to northern low sec.

    LOOKING FOR NEW MENTORS AND HELPERS


    So right I would sаy thе Horde machine has all its gears in place and running smoothly, next step is growth. This is where you come in.

    First of all to access the Horde section of the forums make sure you apply to the "Horde Members" usergroup from your settings top on top of the forums.


    What we are looking for:

    This is something you can do from just IRC and PMs/evemails.

    (low commitment): Donation$. Right now Phal is has been providing for the great majority of horde's financial necessities. The rest came from initial donations of ships and isk that PL and waffle members contributed when we began. If you wanna throw horde some isk send donations to Phal's alt

    (medium commitment): FCing. This can be as little as frig roams in FW plexes or camping the pipes in pureblind. Ѕimply post an op in the horde events section or ping for an improptu fleet in #horde irc

    (medium commitment): Logistics. If you have a JF alt help run courier contracts from Jita to Ѕaranen (1 cyno mid). You can do so by posting a thread advertising your hauling services in this subforum: https://www.pandemic-legion.com/foru...mp-Marketplace

    (medium commitment): Classes. If you can come up with a useful class and teach it to the newbeans it would be greatly appreciated. We will record it and add it to the channel. Please contact Travis Uchonela if you have a class in mind.

    (large commitment): Managing. A lot of the initial Horde-Dirs burned out. We could use more nerds in the h-dir team to help run things. If you have time to spare and are interested in seeing this project grow send a PM to AdmiralGoberius on the forums, and let me know what your expertise is.
