I'm running out of generic titles for these things.

As you've probably heard from literally everybody else's pastebins today, AGDQ game list comes out tomorrow. Honestly, I'm like 50/50 on whether or not All Forts (HOT CATEGORY™) will get in. It's a super fun and interesting category, and I think now is the best time to submit it, and races are always hype, especially when all of our PBs are relatively close. At the same time, other games that have had relays before have taken a slight dip the next GDQ, but if there's any series big enough to buck that trend, I suppose it's probably Mario. If it does get in, I wouldn't be shocked if it gets tacked on as like a bonus run or something, as there's some other really cool Mario stuff also submitted.

If (hopefully when) it gets in, I'll probably work toward at least a mid to low 47, I think there's still a lot of time on the table, nobody has really optimized it yet. If it doesn't, not sure if I'll work on it or not, really have other stuff I wanna get better at as well, so I guess I'll kinda just do whatever I feel like.

Speaking of other stuff, LttP 100% is going better than I thought honestly. I'm already very close to my goal of a sub 2, although my recent PB had very good luck and a string of golds at the end, so it's gonna be tough to run against. (I may have PB'd by too much, which is what you NEVER wanna do) Gonna keep working on practicing so I can hopefully reach that goal, but honestly I may have to put that on hold to work on the rest of the SNES Pentathlon stuff. I need to actually learn and practice Donkey so that isn't a 2 hour trainwreck, and improve and get more consistent in SMW so I can cut some time there as well. I PB'd in SM a couple times in some races, so that's improving even though it's still pretty meh. MMX will just... happen I guess lol. I still want to do a full run of all 5 by the end of the year, so got about 2 and half months before I have to put something out there.

Got a couple of big dumbs coming up soon. Saturday Mill and I are racing Sunshine 120. The question isn't who will win, but who will actually finish lol. 2000 Follower Special of SMAS+SMW All 5 100% and SM64 120 is penciled in for October 21st, but might get pushed back a week as there might be people visiting, I'll post something when I know something. Still wanna try and squeeze in a 12HC for SMB2U, maybe sometime in November? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As for casual stuff, finally finished Yooka-Laylee 100% the other day. Had a ton of fun with it, even though there was a massive gap between when I started and when I finished it. Kinda feeling like doing another playthrough offstream to form a full opinion on it. I liked it quite a bit, I think it fits well with the old Rare 3D collectathons. Not my favorite of the bunch, but I don't feel like it's my least favorite either. Again, kinda wanna play through everything without a massive gap to form a whole picture of it. Cuphead has also been a blast, super challenging, but super rewarding when you get finally kill that boss or beat the stage. Gonna probably finish the playthrough on stream and then FINALLY put up a vote for whatever's next. I know not nearly as many people watch or care about the casual stuff on stream, but it's nice to know what the people with literally nothing better to do would like to watch me stumble through violently.

Life stuff is life stuff. Still losing weight somehow, so I guess that's good. Work has been chaotic and leaving me pretty drained a lot of days, and might stay that way as the holidays approach. Just gotta power through.
