  1. [05:40] The knight returns to his previous seat before the disturbance of their discussion. He had intended to speak with the Lord in a more private setting at some point and naturally his gaze wanders to the green-haired man and back to his Lord for a moment.
  2.
  3. He begins busying himself with the glass of brandy on ice, now melted properly, that the servants had brought earlier. He grasps the cup, picks it up, and begins to swirl it.
  4.
  5. Since his discussion with Adrienne the feeling had not diminished. He was meant to be here, to speak with Claude and this mysterious attendant. Everything was pushing for, The Vision aligning.
  6.
  7. Lately he saw the connections everywhere and the flashes came during day-to-day life and he had to do his best to hide it. Grand images of restored ruins, all people in unison crying in relief, and more so much more yet to be shown.
  8.
  9. His brown-eyed gaze seems different, lighter. One might swear a green-yellow sheen reflects from the lights of the room. "I am glad we finally have a moment together, Lord Claude."
  10.
  11. Occasionally the two spoke in such riddles that contained deeper meaning hidden in the choice and the context. He did not even need to look at the man to confirm if he received it.
  12.
  13. Claude's intellectual mannerisms always brought out the scholar in him.
  14. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16.
  17. [05:41] While the two took a seat, he himself stood up. Seemingly have begun to almost fully recover from the battle previous. A light exhale is made as he knew such an endeavor was goin to be dreadfully boring.
  18. (Crypto Exile)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. [05:47] There was a soft smile as he shifted the boy in his arms, then getting out of his way as he stood up. With side-long glance at the youth he made sure they where walking. He chided himself as he realized he was being soft, he blamed it on his increasing time spent at the church. Frowning slightly as he shifted back to his bourbon. The ice had melted by now but that didn't matter to him, he just wanted to relax.
  22.
  23. A dangerous motive for drinking.
  24.
  25. His focus then was swiveled onto Valero with a focus that he didn't really feel. Perhaps the loss of an employee and the violence taken place inside his home had left him irritated. "Ser Montclaire, it warms my breast to have a few moments alone. Not oft am I gifted such a chance to relax in good company. My ears are yours for the next few hours."
  26.
  27. As he spoke he'd raise his glass, then brought it to his lips. Taking a deep drink of it before settling the glass back on the table. As he put it down he noticed his cloths soiled with blood, well an issue for later.
  28. (Claude vey Pelleaux)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [05:48] Crypto Exile says, "<Hours...>"
  32. [05:52] Claude vey Pelleaux says, "<I'm typing as fast as I can don't hate.>"
  33. [05:55] That was all the clearance he needed, he could speak freely in front of this one. The man grips his own glass and holds it up in unison with Claude's toast, "Then I shall do my best to make them enjoyable, Lord Claude."
  34.
  35. After a sip of his own drink is taken, more refreshing for the melted ice, he sets the cup upon a coaster to prevent marring the immaculate wooden tables of House Pelleaux.
  36.
  37. "The things you've spoke of, these visions we share. Before they had no name, but this day I seek to find them with you in earnest." He pauses briefly as he looks for that hidden options that all of The Vigilant had been searching for.
  38.
  39. It was a dream that half of Esshar or more seemed to plea for, begging that a better life without bloodshed might be on the horizon. "You have heard all that I have done of late, and the rumors of the jealous with them, but this is just the beginning of a new era I believe we are destined to create."
  40.
  41. Once more he spoke boldly as that feeling from his discussion with Adrielle that had set that mystical spark in his breast. Funny that Claude should use such words.
  42.
  43. Coincidence was in abundance of late and any magi-knight knew there was no such thing a pure coincidence.
  44. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [05:56] The mad lad seemed to have passed out while standing at this very moment.
  48. (Crypto Exile)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [06:06] The man seemed to be a bit tired, though nothing he couldn't shake off for a while longer. His hand came to cup his chin, stroking it evenly as the Knight spoke. Had he said these things to the man before? Honestly he wasn't sure at that moment.
  52.
  53. "I've heard the rumors of course I keep my ear to the ground for them. You've achieved a great deal but I must admit this push for a mixing of the classes is a controversial one. I'm unsure how they'll see you regarding it."
  54.
  55. As he spoke he'd reach for the bottle that Ravan had left behind. Popping it open and pouring himself another drink. "In fact, I've found my own presence to not only be one rejected by the common people but feared. Did you know Ms. Stepford came to me for a resignation and was shocked when I didn't have her harmed?" That drink came to his lips as he paused. "Osrona's in a poor place and it's the influx of Rhyonish. They shouldn't have been brought into the capital it through the local economy out of sync."
  56.
  57. Bam the drink was taken and the class hit the fine oaken table. "It's the Syndicate I think, using rhetoric that leaves one half." He leaned back at that point, he'd rambled a bit. His focus settled upon the man across from him.
  58.
  59. "Now, let's talk about your visions. I take it you've started to see pieces of the great design?"
  60. (Claude vey Pelleaux)
  61. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  62.
  63. [06:12]
  64. {LOAD GAME}
  65.
  66. [06:12] Theo asks, "Can I has bread with it?"
  67. [06:12] Remei says, ".."
  68. [06:12] Remei says, "Y-yes."
  69. [06:12] Theo exclaims, "Yes!"
  70. [06:13] Remei says, "Find s-some bread then.. I only have mayonnaise."
  71. [06:13] Theo says, "Oh... I dont have any bread"
  72. [06:17] One of Valero's talents seemed to be a penchant for hearing things and meeting the right people. He smiles politely at the lord, his attention shifting for a moment as others join the room, then he glances back.
  73.
  74. He gives a faint grimace at the talk of the state of Pelleaux's reputation and Claude's opinion on the Rhoynish, "It hurt the economy, but we are in this for the long-haul now." He concedes. It really did make sense and Sudsbury was a prime example.
  75.
  76. "The Syndicate absolutely seek to divide which is why this message of unity from the established authority is more crucial than ever." He had barely even been surprised at Claude's mention of the visions.
  77.
  78. The twinge of excitement and a rush from the revelation sprang forth but.. Well, life had been too unexpected to the point of the chaos being sorted into predictability and settling into the borders of law.
  79.
  80. "I see or rather.. It is a feeling, the sights come in-between. I feel who is here, who is there. Pieces that sounds like mad rambling in my head, but in my heart I.." He pauses realizing his passion was overtaking him on the matter.
  81.
  82. "It is a beautiful sunrise over Osrona. Nothing lies unabandoned even in the farthest reaches, nothing is stagnant, all has a purpose. It comes in flashes of places I have never seen, glimpses."
  83.
  84. He halts for a moment to inspect the Lord Pelleaux's expression for a moment before finishing, "And I have never seen something that demanded more of me."
  85. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [06:17] Valero lux Montclaire asks, "But, what does it mean and how do you know?"
  89. [06:20] Claude vey Pelleaux says, "Well, the great design is hard to untangle because you need to account for all the stars involved in any specific moment to uncover the truth. For instance if your visions are based only upon a single star than they have a much greater chance to change when other stars get involved. "
  90. [06:21] Valero lux Montclaire asks, ".. And what causes this, why do I have these visions?"
  91. [06:21] Claude vey Pelleaux says, "Now, you know me and my opinions when it comes to the lower classes. They have their place in the design and it's not trying to overthrow the nobility. Neither is the nobilities job to oppress the lower classes. Unity in focus is what's needed and when ti comes to that you will have my support."
  92. [06:22] Valero lux Montclaire says, "Well, that is certainly the goal and I do not seek to divide what we have, but strengthen it. All people have a place in the plan, but.."
  93. [06:22] Claude vey Pelleaux says, "You most likely have the visions from a particular connection to a star. Which star depends on yourself, perhaps Geist? I've known others who have connected to that star and experienced visions."
  94. [06:23] Theo sits down, unsure of what is going on. Damn it she just wanted some mayonnaise bread. But for now but keeping quiet, and opted to just watch and hope things turned in a more interesting direction.
  95. (Theo)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [06:23] Valero lux Montclaire asks, "I am.. Familiar with the stars, but not all of their meanings. Geist is the House of Visions like the patron of seers?"
  99. [06:24] Claude nodded.
  100. (Claude vey Pelleaux)
  101. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  102.
  103. [06:24] Claude vey Pelleaux says, "Yes, it's an important star within the constellation."
  104. [06:28] It was done. Whatever wretched thing they had managed to do.. They'd been waiting for the perfect moment, and right now it seemed just that. One hand reached for the iron pot.
  105.
  106. With no hesitation they plopped a handful of the mayonnaise mix on top of Claude's head. And all was good.
  107. (Remei)
  108. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  109.
  110. [06:29] Theo exclaims, "!!"
  111. [06:29] Claude vey Pelleaux says, "Welp, that's the end of it for me. "
  112. [06:30] Valero valiantly puts his head in the way of the mess.
  113. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  114. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  115.
  116. [06:31] Remei attempts to.. still plap it on top of Claude?
  117. (Remei)
  118. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  119.
  120. [06:32] Swerve
  121. (Claude vey Pelleaux)
  122. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  123.
  124. [06:34] In a blur of motion, as though guided by some unnatural perception of an event that would occur, Valero flings himself from his chair, swirls in a circle, and contorts his body to catch the falling globs of the condiment upon himself.
  125.
  126. The mess manages to avoid getting on the lord and instead his own clothing are sullied with the grimy egg-paste. He pauses for a moment then holds a hand out expectantly waiting for a servant, or anyone really, to fetch him a wet towel.
  127.
  128. "Apologies about that." He says through grit teeth. The embarrassment, shock, exhilaration, and hilarity of the moment mingled into everything until it all cancelled out into confused neutrality.
  129. (Valero lux Montclaire)
