In his rage, Godzilla shook his entire body, and a strange, white light shot
out from his back. He opened his mouth to let out a roar.
GRRRAAAAAWWWWR!! And with it, a white-hot beam of light shot out
from inside his bright-red mouth.
How terrifying!! Everywhere the white-hot ray touched was
instantaneously engulfed in a sea of flame.
Ogata and Shinkichi were still chasing after the dark shadows. They ran
down from the rooftop and were about to turn into a narrow street when
they glanced back over their shoulders. What they saw made their blood run
cold.
The same building that they had just escaped from, the very same
building that ought to be towering up right behind them, was collapsing into
nothingness!! Godzilla’s white-hot beam was responsible.
Four or five homes went up in flames.
