  1. [18:40:48] Preperations:The ritual from before had already been set out but even so more preperations had to be made. The grey hued Warchief closed his eyes for a few seconds, focusing on the feeling of the heartbeat underground. After a few moments a great amount of vines began to rise up to his call and a golden energy could be felt flowing towards him as he looked forwards."They will come soon. Everyone should get ready.Spirits protect your vessels."
  2. (Xomac Tepin)
  3. {NARRATION} (Go back a bit Gehenna.)
  4.
  5. [18:57:00] The ground would quake, shuddering under the woman's feet. Heat rose as a malicious smirk crossed painted lips. "Oh, I -love- a good turn out." Rolling back her shoulders, blue eyes gazed over the forces of Valsmasia. "I dare say, if it wern't for the stench of these woods, their army would stand out from a nile away!"Giving a silky laugh, the Priestess gripped her staff and hummed quietly. "Remember Gehenna...." Raising the staff again, it is brought back down with a thndering sound-- Making the ground lurch under the pressure. Raising her right hand quickly after, the Chieftess's words echo across the crowds."FOR GEHENNA! BATHE IN THEIR BLOOD, BURN DOWN THE CORPSES AND LEAVE NOTHING BUT ASH IN YOUR WAKE!!"Slaming a balled fist over the left side of her chest, right above the heart, Izel began to laugh again.Oh, was she ever excited.
  6. (Nellihuitl Izel)
  7. [19:00:25] Xomac cracks his neck, grey hues staring out at the other side as plants rise from the ground. A prayer to the spirits is given. "Spirits, protect and empower your vessels. Give us strength."
  8. (Xomac Tepin
  9. [19:00:25] Louis Young exclaims, "Come on, Lady Tranen - put your heart into it!"
  10. {NARRATION} (Currently setting up the first round of matches. Please wait patiently.)
  11. [19:02:59] The golden ornaments of the man rattled, consecrating that battlefield with the noises of wealth and its expensive sandals bursting the grassy purples infested by the pulsar of occultism. Oh, if his eyes were eased by the sight of such a depraved and putrid army ridiculously trying to dominate their lands. Nothing but pure disgust took over his mind, while Ozomatli pierced the people present with his brief analysis until he stopped at Nenetl. Her rescue was one of the priorities of the clash, and unfortunately, it was not today that the ezmarian leader was going to settle the accounts with the infamous Cardinal. Tightening his spine a little, the man let out some words with an indifferent tone for his followers to hear."The Betrayer's kin think we're weak, Gehenna. A continent made with savages that needs discipline. Valmasia plans to enslave us, only to subsequently end our lives and stop the cicle by reviving you once again. These mongrels... this putrid force... We will show them our sovereignty. We will fight them on the swamps until the last tree is destroyed, and until our last sword breaks. And when there's no weaponry left, we'll break their bones with our bare fists, clarifying who is the true and only owner of this territory. We will defend The Eye of Tlacacemelle, until every last Valmasian standing here is expelled. And if we find ourselves captured or wounded... we will lift our heads in defiance and spit in their faces. This is not for Ezmara, Cruxati, Atl or any other tribe. This is for Gehenna.""My people, the war has started. Show no mercy against them." - lifting his chin one more time to face his opponents with a sense of pride, the formal declaration of the beginning was given.
  12. (Ozomatli Lotl-tli)
  13. [19:07:15] Nellihuitl Izel whispers: So, Xomac..
  14. [19:07:15] Nellihuitl Izel whispers: Remember the order, should I go and perish.
  15. [19:08:57] Nellihuitl Izel whispers: Xomac...
  16. [19:08:57] Xomac Tepin whispers: yes?
  17. [19:08:57] Nellihuitl Izel whispers: Remember what I told you about being War Chief...And remember to finish the Idol.
  18. [19:09:48] Xomac Tepin says, "-he gives a nod fiercly-"
  19. [19:09:48] Xomac Tepin whispers: as you command.
  20. [19:09:48] Nellihuitl Izel whispers: Good...Let's hope neither of us die then, hum? Less we leave Cruxati unattended..
  21. [19:10:40] Xomac Tepin whispers: We won't. Today is a good day to ki- sacrifice.

  25. [19:22:36] The battle comences; The warchief travels north, using his staff and flame to cut swaths through the undead and other soilders of Valmasia. Vines tendril up from the ground, wrapping around people but before long he finds himself seperated from much of the people he knows. It is a solemn feeling, but one that he knows would happen in the chaos of war.Bodies fall, scorched, but the empowerment of the spirits and his own temperment keep him from slowing down or morning. But eventually they come across something out of the ordinary. A red lighting flickering in the distance? Moving towards it the man feels the spirits power and his eyes narrow and he breaths in."SPIRITS! GIVE YOUR VESSEL STRENGTH TO FIGHT AGAINST THE FORCES OF EVIL!"
  26. (Xomac Tepin)
  27. [19:24:19] Kalthas, in his usual fashion, arrives at the site of the battle in a flash.Thunder resounds and the heavens themselves boom in return, clouds parting to make way for the zap of red lightning as it plunders the earth. Swamp grass goes flying, weeds are uprooted, and a crater forms thusly thereafter. It is beside Xomac that he arrives, the air like plasma in heat between the lightning and fire magi. The fairy tilts back a bottle of red fluid, unmarked otherwise."Greetings, combatant of Gehenna," Kalthas uttered aloud while Xomac.. well, screamed. "You seem quite the firey soul, yes? I would like to say that I am the same, but..."Kalthas shrugged, a ball of rabid energy pulsating in both palms. "I find passion in the art of my work," he added. "I hope we can reach an accord in that respect.""Come forth, then-- we do battle!"
  28. (Kalthas)
  29. [19:26:52] {combat} Xomac Tepin has been defeated by Kalthas! They're unable to continue fighting.
  30. [19:32:00] The first clash is close - that much is for certain.Kalthas, though, only manages it through the merit of having fought too many nature mages in his time to continue putting up with the god-forsaken 'hide-under-a-tree' tactic of theirs. He makes a point of taking that spot under each summoned Yggdrasil, practically waiting there in the hope of keeping Xomac at bay.Yet even so (and in a display that most would consider dishonorable), Kalthas remains... nonchalant! His form is littered with scratches and wounds from the nature magi's burns, even with the healing potion provided by Alistair. And yet he maintains a grin, evidently glad to be fighting this Gehennan."You fight with valor," Kalthas affirmed, nodding once or twice thereafter. "Not many are bold enough to get into close-range with me, yes? Your kind is one of bravery and strength. Show me what those centuries of war mean to you, savage."
  31. (Kalthas)
  32. [19:34:33] They were strong. And Xomac wasn't strong enough. The Gehennan used flame, cosmic and nature, but the fairy seemed to have a way to make his abilities much less potent. The tree didn't give him as much energy, and the vines were taken down before they could do much damage. Along with this the man found that he was unable to get close enough to hit the fairy for fear of the red lighting that would strike out."Thank you." The Warchief would say to the complement, knowing it might be his final battle. The golden energy around him once more picked up as he pulled himself together. "I hope I shall continue to amaze.SPIRITS! GUIDE YOUR VESSEL AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!! THE FIGHT FOR GLORY AWAITS!"
  33. (Xomac Tepin)
  34. [19:36:16] {combat} Kalthas has been defeated by Xomac Tepin! They're unable to continue fighting.
  35. [19:39:40] The spirits responded in force.Xomac's body shivered and trembled in fear and exictment as he did battle with the fairy. Despite its small phyisce it proved to be a pretty remarkable foe. Trouble was brewing and if he stayed too close to it he realized he would lose. At the same time, if he kept away from it it also spelt destruction. The second round however did give him luck. He was able to loose a beam of golden energy early on which barely brought him a win. Still he knew that the fariy would ge back up. An endearing and terrifying little creature."Tell me Valmasian; What is your name? If I die here I would like to go to the spirits knowing my killer. And if you die, I would like to know who gave me such a VICIOUS FIGHT!SPIRITS! SHOW YOUR VESSEL THE STRENGTH TO GO ON! I WILL NEED IT SHORTLY TO DO YOUR BIDDING!"
  36. (Xomac Tepin)
  37. [19:42:14] "I am Kalthas, Magus of Valmasia," he replied immediately, wiping some of the blood from his admittedly tiny physique. Every hit struck the fairy with an immense amount of damage - moreso than it would a human, that much was for sure. Even now, the butterfly-wings of the tiny creature were slightly torn or ajar, obviously bent from being slammed by a particularly dangerous Nova Ray."And what is yours? Or perhaps you will have to tell me after we do battle once more," Kalthas continued with a shrug. "It does not matter to me. We will know the truth in death either way, yes? Let us continue without pause."He hovered up and backward, ready to dodge like never before.
  38. (Kalthas)
  39. [19:44:48] {combat} Xomac Tepin has been defeated by Kalthas! They're unable to continue fighting.
  40. [19:50:46] The fairy was too powerful. The creature moved and darted, avoiding Xomac in every way possible. It was hard to get within thirty feet much, much less attack with any sort of moves. Even the nature spirits had trouble, unable to keep the fairy still like he normally would have. Healing was in short supply due to some occultic curse and in the end it would be a glaze from the red lighting that spelt Xomac's defeat. But all was not lost. Being far away from Xomac gave the Warchief a chance to turn and run after the glaze of red lighting. Perhaps in the future he would learn a way to counter this creature, to fight it without it's constant control over where he went. But for now?"You are well met Kalthas. I am Xomac Tepin, Warchief of the Cruxati. Forgive me but I will not be dying today. You may try again later."Fire would spill over the ground, and in a whiff of smoke the man would be gone.
  41. (Xomac Tepin)
  42.
  43. [20:06:08] Kalthas, in a burst of sudden lightning, arrives back into the center of the clearing. He is injured, but a combination of natural magic and the potion of Alistair's creation see to it that he is healed over time.In just a few minutes, the worst of his wounds would be sealed!"Is that really one of the Gehennan leaders?" Kalthas murmured, recalling Ozo's face from an excursion into Gehennan territory from quite a while ago. "I believe it is. He is the one with a hold on nature magic, yes?""Exceptional work, Gareth."
  44. (Kalthas)
  45. [20:47:05] Escape. It wasn't victory, but it was life. Xomac would have headed back towards the entrance of the Ezmara temple, watching the gathering of people around. A glance is made towards the faces around. "I think the battle went badly Faustus.. Do you see any of the expedition leaders?" A catious glance is spared around.
  46. (Xomac Tepin)
  47. {NARRATION} (The wounded should be further back. If you won, line up at the front of your team.)
