Alexithymiaa: -Brad sat at one of the booths with his new assistant Evan sitting across from him with his beautiful head of hair. "So thhis is thhe work phone. If it rings, answer it. If it doesn't ring, don't answer it." He said, pushing his phone across the table to the male. "Check the emails, answer my messages. Don't call anyone unless I ask you to." // Evan looked down at the phone, picking it up in his hhand and studying it. "Incoming only unless otherwise stated. Got it." He spoke with a nod before looking back to Brad.-
Covet: Kelsey came into the cafe, with Connor and Holly in tow. Though the two of them went off to their own booth, because they were working on menu things for his cooking show. Kelsey stopped where the guys were at and gave a wave, "Hey, how's round two going?" She asked the two of them.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad looked up when Kelsey, Holly, and Connor came in, sending them all a wave. "Hey Kels. Pretty good so far. Kels, this is Evan. Evan, this is Kelsey." // Evan immediately lifted his hand to her, offering it to her for a polite shake. "It's nice to meet you Kelsey."-
Covet: Kelsey shook Evan's hand back and gave him a smile, "Pleasure to meet you too, Evan. Mind if I join you guys. Connor told me I'm not allowed to help him and Holly because this is his project and he doesn't want me taking it over." She said with her hands up, giving a slight eyeroll.
Covet: guys?*
Alexithymiaa: -Brad started to crack up, shaking his head. "To be fair, that's how all five year olds feel about their mothers. And considering you're one of the best cooks I know, I can see him feeling a little intimidated if you help too much." He slid further into the booth to make room for her, patting the seat beside him. // Evan smiled, twisting a bit to look over at Holly and Connor. "That's cute though. And maybe he'll surprise you with how much he thrives getting to be creative on his own. Afterall, it's in his blood, isn't it?" He asked, looking between Brad and Kelsey and sort of just assumed Brad was the father. The shirt helped the assumption.-
Covet: "This is true. I just didn't expect to be told that I can't help this early. I figured I had until he was at least eight." She said with a laugh. "He's pretty creative, and he most definitely gets it from us." She said nudging Brad, not even bothering to correct Evan's assumption because FuckJason2018.

Alexithymiaa: "We taught him well." He said as he adjusted his beanie on his head, swinging his arm around Kelsey's shoulders. "I cant say Im not curious to see what kind of recipes he comes back with though, even with Holly's help." // Evan looked over at Connor and Evan again, smiling. "Is that Holly? She's your nanny, right?" He asked, trying to remember all of the thhings Brad had gone over with him.-
Covet: "From the sounds of it, he's not making anything of his own yet, he's just using my recipes to make his meal plan. It's like he's watched me before or something." She said with a laugh, "Though I'd like to see him making his own once he gets the skills down. Holly's going to work with him on his knife cutting and measuring skills." She said glancing over her shoudler at them. "Yes, she is, and she's nothing short of a Saint, I swear."
Alexithymiaa: "I figured any knife work or thhings that have to do with an open flame, you could help it. It'll give you a cute boost to be on camera with him, and it's probably not a good idea for him to do that stuff anyway so..." He trailed off, looking to Holly. // Evan smiled, folding his hands on the table in front of him. "That's nice that you've found someone so trustworthy to help you. Kids can get chaotic, I know."-
Covet: "I suggested the same thing to Holly, but she said she doesn't mind supervising him and showing him how to do it right. We were looking at a couple of things online to help keep him safe from cutting himself, and a single induction burner that they can plug in on the counter. So nothing with open flame yet, and the silicone finger guard will keep him from getting cut, along with the special colorful ceramic edged knives, made for kids. They have some amazing things out there now, I feel kind of like I was cheated in my childhood." She said with a laugh, then looked at Evan raising an eyebrow, "You've worked with kids before? Or?"

Covet: [Idk.. they were advertising them when Masterchef Junior was on XD]
Covet: [I was like.. whaaaa.. most of these little shits can cook bomb food by the age of 8. and they can do it safely now... ]
Alexithymiaa: "That just means you had to be even better, faster, to be as good as you are now." He spoke with a cheesy grin, trying to flatter her. His eyes swung over to Evan, raising his brows. // "Sort of, yeah. I have a little brother who has a lot of little friends. I used to babysit all the time and they'd all come over and drive me crazy. Fortunately he's fifteen now so the babysitting is over. Now it's just teensitting." He said with a laugh, trying to make a joke.-
Covet: "Oh you poor thing, that's probably even worse. Teenagers are way too smart for their own good. But if you can keep up with them, more power to you. I like them when they're little and they listen, mostly." Kelsey said with a laugh then gave Brad a nudge, " You're sweet, but it would have been nice to have grown up with fewer cuts."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeahhhhh teenagers..." Brad trailed off, shaking his head. "I wouldnt wish teenagers on anyone. Technically I was a teenager recently, but I was never that bad." // Evan laughed, nodding. "I was a teenager last year and I definitely wasnt that bad. Or at least I dont think I was anyway."-
Covet: "We're just not going to talk about the kind of teenager I was, seeing as I'm pretty sure it's obvious, given connor and all." Kelsey said with a laugh, even though she was a pretty good kid, just made some stupid ass decisions.

Covet: [But she got the best thing she could possibly get out of it XD]
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, but look what came of the kind of teenager you were. Connor is the best kid." Brad said, beaming a little as he looked over at him. // Evan smiled as he watched them. "He seems like a good kid. I know y'all are young, but you've got a good handle on the parenting thing so I don't think you shhould judge yourselves too hard about being teenage parents."-
Covet: "This is also very true. And I have You, Mom, and myself to thank for that." She said leaning into Brad. "We do, or at least we try, course, being in our particular situation, kind of grants us some extra amenities that not all parents are privy to." Kelsey said with a bit of a cringe. "But at the same time, if I'm going to be spending money, I'm definitely going to make sure it benefits him in the best ways possible."
Alexithymiaa: "Exactly. If we have the money, why not spend it on the one thing that matters?" He asked even though he didnt really believe thhat becaause he'd grown spoiled and entitled being able to have money to throw around. // "You worked for that though. It's not like someone handed you a trust fund and you're being lazy about it. Both of y'all work your butts off, otherwise Holly and I wouldn't be here."-
Covet: "Mhhm. I just hope that you do a lot better than the last guy. So far, I like you, and I think you'll be a much better fit for Bradley. " Kelsey told him with a smile. "Plus, you're already taking the job more seriously. So that's definitely a plus"
Alexithymiaa: "I like you too. Just don't ruin it." Brad said with a laugh, but he wasnt kidding. "Check in with me tomorrow?" // Evan laughed, his cheeks blushing just a bit. "Well thank you. I think this is going to work out really well. I appreciate your kind words. I am taking a Summer course that I have in the morning so I need to be getting home, but I'll talk to you tomorrow and we can go over some more things."-
Covet: "Have a good night Evan." She said then looked over at Holly and Connor, "I think I'm going to go break up their planning so that we can get ready to head out as well." Kelsey said as she got up and relieved Holly, and helped Connor gather up his things, so they could head back to the dorms.
