Danuki Diary (revised) Pt. 10

Entry #10 5th May, AIEG

  It's been awhile since I wrote in you, I think the best thing is to put "busy" in quotation marks right there and Just leave it at that. Spring has come ,and I told Pa I'd swing by and help him, help with the harvest. Itchin to try driving, on the account of finally gettin hold of an actual license. Still though, gonna be weird since the two autos Miyabi's got a new type of transmission that changes gears for you. I know my kid brother's gonna wanna see Matilda again so I managed to get Miyabi to let her come along. We're takin the other one Miyabi typically keeps locked up, real swell lookin machine too. It's this pure white number with some right nice chrome finish to it. Unlike the other auto, which I learned is called a "limosene", this ones more like the ones back home, cept with a retracting top to it.  Gettin ahead of myself though and I think catchin you up to speed on things should be my first thing.

  Well for starters I started sleepin with Miyabi. I mean we're supposed to be married right and married couples supposed to sleep together? I am findin it harder waking on on the account of the fact that I'm always in a full body hug from Miyabi. Being wrapped in such a warm hug makes it hard even for me to get out of it, not so much of me not wantin to wake her up in the morning, but how nice it feels waking up to her next to me. Feelin myself startin to sleep in more, or maybe  its cause I don't really have much to do here at the mansion. Really most of my days spent putterin around documentin this place a bit at a time. That is when I've got free time, Miyabi brings me around a lot with her on trips, mainly down to the shippin company she owns where a lot of time is spent with her and that blue oni yellin at each other in that weird language of theirs for a bit. Best way in describing these kinda trips is "worrying", when I first got here I expect Miyabi to be one of those always happy kinda girls. The more time I spend with her though the more and more I'm realizing this stuff must be takin a toll on her. If it ain't the office down the docks she's usually cooped up in that locked room I found a bit past her room, which turned out to be her office. Compared to the rest of the house there ain't no windows in there really, well at least non anyone could fit through. On one side you've got a entire wall lined with a book case crammed full of what she says is ledgers and records of stuff, and on the other wall you've got her desk. Every time I go and poke my head in on her she's always got her head in one hand and lookin into one of them massive ledger books.

  That's why I'm hopin this little trip goes well, give Miyabi some time away from all of that stress. Hope Matilda likes it too, been tough trying to get the maids to just address me by name. At first it felt like I was goin and tryin to pull out their teeth, but now it's "Good morning Andy" or "Would you like some help Andy?" which is right dandy. Still tryin to get used to havin servants and all. I mean the maids do all of the cleanin and everything, so I ain't got much to do around here but mill around and look abvout and I've already done it all. Lookin around out back, lot of room for maybe a tiny garden. I could ask Pa to lend me some seeds and maybe we could start a little something here to get Miyabi to takin her mind off all of that work. Rememberin last time how happy she was when we went and gave Ma and Pa a visit, I reckon my gardening idea will go over dandy.Thinkin about it now, Johnny has been callin a lot asking for Matilda to come on by so this should be a nice surprise. Boy seems head over heels for her. I mean I've seen my kid brother flirtin with girls before but he went that extra mile I think with tilda.

Sorry I ain't got much more to say for now Journal. I'll promise I'll put ya back into use yet.
