|                 Congratulations for becoming a Squire!               |
|                                                                      |
|    As a Squire you are on an advanced path, overcoming prior the     |
|  previous obstacles, and are well on your way to Knighthood. Yet,    |
|  the path is not illuminated yet and you still have much to learn.   |
|                                                                      |
|    By the time you become a Squire you should have enough lessons    |
|  to progress to mastery of Knighthood. Please make sure that you     |
|  done so. As always, you may seek training for mastery from Dame     |
|  Eluzmith in the Aegis Keep. Your other skills are yours to decide,  |
|  however we strongly advise selection in your secondary skill,       |
|  Athletics, as it will help you greatly in training your body and    |
|  mind while also affording you great skills to use for a myriad of   |
|  tasks or obstacles you will undoubtedly find.                       |
|                                                                      |
|                   Squires and "The Path of Vigil"                    |
|                                                                      |
|    Squires advancing to Knighthood will undergo three major tests.   |
|  The tests, referred to as the Path of Vigil, will test your ability |
|  to understand and accept all paths available to you as a Knight in  |
|  service to the Light. Your comprehension and ability of and for the |
|  the Light will be made known here as you progress the tasks of the  |
|  three great Paladin Orders, complete a pilgrimage of personal and   |
|  emotional value, and end with a simple test to show your            |
|  understanding of your faith and duty.                               |
|                                                                      |
|    The Squire tasks are headed up through the three great Orders of  |
|  the Paladin Guild. These Orders are the Dawn, the Aegis, and the    |
|  Dove. You may access information to these tasks by reviewing the    |
|  following GHELP files:                                              |
|  GHELP DAWN, GHELP AEGIS, and GHELP DOVE                             |
|                                                                      |
|    The three great Orders of the Holy Paladin Guild were designed    |
|  at the dawn of the modern age to help coming Paladin Squires in     |
|  their rise to Knighthood. Each and every notable Knight you met     |
|  today has risen to the occasion to conquer each of the tasks you    |
|  will encounter now. When you complete the sets of tasks for the     |
|  three great Orders you will be administered a final exam that will  |
|  gauge your understanding of Paladin and New Celest history. The     |
|  test is not to be taken lightly, as we who call ourselves devout of |
|  the Light must always remember why we have been called to serve.    |
|                                                                      |
|    The next task to becoming a Knight is the Pilgrimage. It is not a |
|  task that is physically or mentally exhausting, but emotionally     |
|  involving. Please read GHELP PILGRIMAGE to understand this task, as |
|  it will involve you becoming as linked and understanding of our     |
|  great Holy Supernals as we are.                                     |
|                                                                      |
|    The last portion of being a Squire is the final exam, wherein we  |
|  shall test your knowledge and understanding of the Light in all     |
|  its form. It will entail a solid comprehension of history, faith,   |
|  City, and Guild. Do not take this lightly, and ask your mentor and  |
|  other superiors any questions you may have. We shall help you to    |
|  fathom what it is you are doing and undertaking. You are not alone! |
|                                                                      |

|  serve you in learning what you must know for this final exam.       |

|    Please read GHELP MENTORS and follow instructions therein as soon |
|  as possible, as you will need a mentor and a guide for these tasks. |
|                                                                      |
|    On a final note, please read GHELP SQUIRERULES for outlining      |
|  documentation on your basic set of standards as a Squire in service |
|  to a Paladin Knight. Again, welcome to your Squirehood and may you  |
|  ever walk in the Light.                                             |
|                                                                      |
|    Lastly, you will be up for Knighting after having successfully    |
|  completed these tasks. The Knighting is one of the greatest honors  |
|  we may bestow unto you, Squire. Be proud when it is your time to    |
|  enter the blue Cathedral, as it is a great honor not easily given   |
|  nor obtained.                                                       |
