Their is a war goin on in the streets of America, the UK, and many other nations worldwide,
Its a war against the people and everyone is effected by it,

Like all wars this is a war for profit ,
Where the rich get richer at the expense of the rest of us,
This an un-winnable self perpetuating war,
and It will only end if we put a stop to it,

When the U.S. government declared a war on everyone,
Because of alcohol people dreaded prohibition
That's why Richard Nixon hit 'em with a different diction,

The war on drugs was created to neutralize,
Social movements of this very revolutionary time,
It targetted hippies, students and people protestin',
They caught up with drugs and locked 'em up with no question,

In the 80s it was president Raegan,
Crack epidemic brought to you by federal agents
With the Iran contra, CIA smugglin,
Drugs in the ghetto to destroy the people strugglin',

Black people were the ones they hit the hardest,
To get rid of the poor the basics of Raeganomics
Lets just be honest, its all about control,
And corporations profit while people pay the toll,

The media was used to promote the drugs
That the government provided to the local thugs
But when they tried to make a living selling drugs that they were givin they got locked up in a prison now you tell me whose the villain

To make sure their passin and their interest is protected,
Private prison is a billion dollar industry,
So instead of schools they just buildin penitentiaries,

They'd rather see us locked up then see us educated,
Cause knowledge is power and slavery is a payment,

Terrorists and politicians are some of the usual banks alcohol tobacco oil pharmacuticils
Private contractors, steel, lumber and cotton
Construction companies build the prisons people rot in,
Gone but not forgotten I'm representing for,
