  1. Earth and Hell coexist as two different places. Transportation to and from is through a series of great elevators that are more like vertical bullet trains. Not much is known on how this came to be. It's likely that questionable contracts and dimensional shenanigans were at hand.
  2.
  3.
  4. Earth's known bastion is a vast, cyberpunk cityscape known as Ethos. Woefully overpopulated with skyscrapers that pierce the fog-laden sky and sickeningly lit slums that host the downtrodden populace.
  5.
  6.
  7. Countless centuries of continued and expansive human existence has otherwise marred the Earth, causing Ethos to be the prime capital. Still, people somehow find a way to survive and even live healthy lives outside of the capital. Cybernetics and transhumanism is commonplace, you'll need it to survive out there at this point. Everyone is modified in some way.
  8.
  9.
  10. Earth's connection with Hell has caused some irregularities to happen within the two planes, as this is not a natural occurrence. Improbable events have been often spotted happening in both planes. It is presumed that Hell had these before, but the rate has been greatly accelerated since the merge. Alterations of worldly concepts like gravity, time and space as well as certain people having supernatural abilities are notable. These are all coined as Anomalies.
  11.
  12.
  13. Hell was once feared by the general populace as a place of torture and suffering for human souls, but that isn't quite the case. Though a daunting land with a bizarre ecosystem and a nightmarish bestiary to say the least, settlements are plentiful and people are provided what they need to live. Settlements and cities are very industrial, bustling and feisty. It's no surprise that sinners would find themselves at home, either.
  14.
  15.
  16. Hell is not how you expect. It isn't all stark red, fire and brimstone, but has a rather rich array of sections and areas that have developed and surfaced naturally. There are uncharacteristic bodies of water, rich subterranean caverns, strange flora, monolithic geode formations and many other "natural" occurrences. It is an esoteric place that has its own, albeit morbid, beauty.
  17.
  18.
  19. Those who have died on Earth and were taken to Hell, and are not natives or migrants from Earth who have gone through the due process to prevent this, become mindless demons that wander the outskirts and anywhere outside of civilization. Generally these highly aggressive demons are regarded as a sort of pest and hunting them for sport or for game is encouraged.
  20.
  21.
  22. A popular pastime that was widely present in Hell and now is also carrying over to Earth is the existence of organized fighting, or fight clubs. The fight club is organized by a Ringmaster, which is a title that can be earned by defeating the previous Ringmaster in a match. People gather from all walks of life, human, demon, robot, creature, all things in between. They all have in common a desire to brawl.
  23.
  24.
  25. Tournaments are hosted by the Ringmaster on a weekly basis, going by a bracket. The overall winner gets the opportunity to challenge the Ringmaster and take their spot, but they are still rewarded and well-regarded for coming out on top either way.
  26.
  27.
  28. Most organizations and clubs in Hell all have their own set of rules and unique settings and arenas given the grand eco-diversity that Hell has as well as if there is an Anomaly at play.
  29.
  30.
  31. Some example organizations are listed here:
  32.
  33.
  34. Abaddon Brawling Association (ABA) - A favorite among those in pursuit of violence. The ABA's location is surrounded by a ring Anomaly that blesses those inside with a shockingly fast injury regeneration process and the inability to die when in the confines of the Anomaly. This organization holds no holds barred tournaments that allows all manners of tactics, weaponry and abilities. Operates on KO rules regardless. Despite being the most free-handed brawling event currently available, there are still bans and potential disqualifications present.
  35.
  36.
  37. Dark, hot pink and cavernous. Has clusters of infernal crystals hanging about on the walls, ceiling and floor. Yes, people have weaponized them.
  38.
  39.
  40.
  41. Sludge Pits - A place given its name not just for the environment, but for the style it invites as well. This is a dirty fighters heaven. Underhanded tricks and tactics are not only non-disqualifiable, they're encouraged. Often looked down upon by those new to the scene, but the creativity and ingenuity of the standout fighters in this organization really do impress, even if they wouldn't be able to ever get away with what they do in any other club.
  42.
  43.
  44. Grimy, blue, and filled with pools of sludge. The sludge is bioluminescent, sticky and can dissolve many things under heavy exposure, but not organic beings. Androids beware.
